We are pleased to be partnering with a nationally focused organisation working across energy efficiency, sustainability and the delivery of government-backed programmes to recruit a Finance Systems Project Manager on a two-year fixed-term contract. \n The organisation manages significant grant and loan programmes on behalf of government and local authorities, alongside a growing portfolio of commercial work. It is now embarking on a major finance systems transformation, replacing a long-established legacy system with Microsoft Business Central. \n This is a hands-on project management role rather than a pure systems accounting position. The successful candidate will lead the finance side of the implementation, working closely with the Head of Finance, IT, external implementation partners, a Business Analyst and a Systems Accountant. \n About the role \n The organisation has recently signed with its implementation partner and is currently in the design phase of a two-year programme. \n You will take responsibility for managing the finance systems project from design through implementation, integration, testing, adoption and delivery. \n Key responsibilities will include: \n • Leading the implementation of Microsoft Business Central across Finance \n * Translating finance requirements into effective system design \n * Helping design dimensions, project codes, reporting structures and workflows \n * Supporting the design of contract and timesheet functionality to allow accurate measurement of project profitability \n * Managing integrations with existing CRM platforms, payroll, HR systems and the organisation's developing data environment \n * Working closely with the Systems Accountant on UAT and integration testing \n * Managing external implementation partners and internal stakeholders \n * Maintaining project governance, including RAID logs, change logs, risks, dependencies and decision-making structures \n * Supporting benefits realisation and ensuring the project remains aligned with its agreed objectives \n * Ensuring appropriate governance and controls are maintained throughout the programme \n * Working with a future Change and Adoption Manager to support successful implementation across the organisation \n The finance environment is slightly more complex than a standard implementation. A significant proportion of the organisation's activity relates to managing large government-backed grant and loan programmes, with multiple operational systems feeding into Finance. \n There is also a need to improve how the organisation records time against contracts and projects, allowing it to better understand delivery costs and profitability across its commercial activity. \n The ideal candidate will bring \n • Strong experience delivering finance systems implementation or transformation projects \n * Good practical knowledge of finance systems and accounting processes \n * Experience moving from a legacy finance system to a modern ERP environment \n * A good understanding of system configuration, including dimensions, coding structures and reporting requirements \n * Strong project management skills and familiarity with RAID logs, change control, risk management and governance structures \n * Experience managing integrations between finance systems and other platforms \n * Confidence working with APIs, data flows and system interfaces \n * Experience working with external implementation partners \n * The ability to understand detailed finance requirements and translate them into practical system solutions \n * Strong stakeholder management skills across Finance, IT and operational teams \n You do not necessarily need to be a qualified accountant. More important is a strong understanding of finance processes and systems, combined with demonstrable experience of successfully managing complex systems projects. \n Experience with Microsoft Business Central would be useful, but candidates with strong experience of other ERP systems such as NetSuite, Dynamics or similar platforms will also be considered. \n The team \n Finance is a relatively small team of around 15 people, split broadly between London and Edinburgh. \n The Head of Finance is highly systems-literate and will be closely involved in the programme. There is also a strong internal IT team, a dedicated Business Analyst and a Systems Accountant who will support areas such as UAT and integration testing. \n The programme is therefore well resourced, with this role focused primarily on ensuring the project itself is properly managed and delivered. \n Key details \n • Salary: c.£70,000, with some flexibility for the right candidate \n * Contract: Two-year fixed-term contract \n * Location: Highly flexible / predominantly home-based \n * Office base: London or Edinburgh depending on location \n * Travel: Occasional team and project meetings across the UK \n * Start: As soon as possible \n * Programme stage: Design phase \n * System: Microsoft Business Central \n There is no regular office attendance requirement. Teams are spread across the UK and generally meet in person when there is a specific reason to do so. Occasional travel for project meetings and wider team sessions will be required. \n This would suit someone who combines strong finance systems knowledge with disciplined project management and who is comfortable taking ownership of a significant implementation. \n To apply or find out more, please submit your CV or contact us for a confidential conversation.

We want someone who can look at what we do today, understand where we’re heading and help us build reward programmes, systems and insights that attract great people, recognise performance and support the continued evolution of Unispace. \n What you’ll be doing \n You’ll take ownership of our global reward programme and help ensure our approach remains competitive, consistent and aligned with both our people strategy and wider business objectives. \n That will include: \n\n • Leading our annual reward cycle, including salary and bonus reviews.\n, • Partnering with senior leadership and the Board on reward budgets, benchmarking and compensation decisions.\n, • Developing our approach to salary structures, benefits, job architecture and pay equity across multiple markets.\n, • Ensuring commission schemes are applied consistently and calculated accurately.\n, • Using market intelligence, people data and analytics to identify trends and give senior leaders meaningful insight.\n, • Working closely with Finance to ensure compensation data is accurate and reconciled.\n, • Partnering with regional People & Culture teams and leadership to make sure global programmes work effectively at a local level.\n, • Continuing to develop governance around reward, people policies, data privacy and compliance.\n, • Supporting our global mobility approach, including immigration and visa-related processes alongside our legal and regional teams.\n, • Building relationships with external partners and challenging us to continually improve how we reward and support our people.\n\n At its heart, this role is about creating clarity, consistency and fairness while still recognising that a global organisation needs flexibility across different markets. \n What you’ll bring \n You’ll already have strong experience across Reward, Compensation, People Operations or broader HR programmes, ideally within an international or multi-region organisation. \n We’d particularly like to hear from people who bring: \n\n • Strong knowledge of compensation strategy, salary benchmarking, benefits and pay equity.\n, • Experience managing or developing global reward programmes.\n, • Confidence working with senior stakeholders and translating complex data into clear recommendations.\n, • Strong analytical capability and an instinct for turning people data into meaningful business insight.\n, • Experience working with HR platforms and digital people systems such as Workday, SuccessFactors or similar.\n, • The ability to balance strategic thinking with getting into the detail when needed.\n, • A commercial mindset alongside a genuine interest in building fair, inclusive and high-performing organisations.\n, • Comfort working in a fast-moving, collaborative and globally connected business.\n\n Experience within professional services, design, construction or a similarly complex international organisation would be useful, but it isn’t essential. \n Why Unispace? \n You’ll be joining a global team of thinkers, creators and problem-solvers operating across strategy, design, project management and construction. \n We believe the best outcomes come from bringing different disciplines and perspectives together — and the same is true of our people. \n This role gives you the opportunity to influence how we attract, reward and retain talent across our global business, working with senior leaders while having the freedom to challenge, improve and build. \n If you’re excited by the opportunity to combine reward strategy, data and genuine business influence within a creative global organisation, we’d love to hear from you.

Group Treasury Manager \n \n \n Build the treasury function, don't just run it. \n A rapidly growing, PE-backed group seek a Group Treasury Manager to take genuine ownership of cash, debt and banking as they grow. This isn't a mature, static function you'll inherit and maintain. It's an active, hands-on treasury agenda with multiple funding lines, a fast-moving cash position, and a steady flow of acquisitions to integrate. If you want to build and own processes rather than police someone else's, this is your role. \n Reporting to the Group Financial Controller and with a Treasury Analyst reporting to you, you'll be at the centre of how the Group funds its growth and puts its cash to work. \n What you'll do \n You'll own the Group's rolling 12-month integrated cash flow forecast — consolidating inputs from across the business, working directly with finance and non-finance colleagues to sense-check and challenge the numbers, and continually sharpening forecast accuracy. You'll manage the Group's debt facilities day to day, act as the primary contact for our banking relationships, and lead the drive to rationalise and simplify banking structures as we scale. \n There's a real commercial edge to the role: you'll take ownership of optimising interest income on surplus cash — through fixed-term deposits, sweep structures and smart movement of cash between entities — always balanced against liquidity needs and risk appetite. You'll monitor interest rate risk on our debt and support hedging decisions (caps, swaps) with senior finance and external advisers. \n And because growth is the story here, you'll model the cash flow, liquidity and covenant impact of acquisitions in the pipeline, partner on funding requirements, and lead the treasury integration of completed deals — banking, cash visibility, payment controls and forecasting, all folded cleanly into the Group. \n What you'll bring \n You're a pragmatic, commercially minded self-starter who's comfortable building forecasting tools and processes from scratch in a lean team. You'll bring 5+ years of treasury/cash management experience with a clear focus on debt management and cash flow forecasting — ideally from a multi-entity or PE-backed environment — and you're a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or ACT-qualified (AMCT). \n You'll have hands-on experience with banking partners and lenders, optimising deposit returns, managing interest rate risk and hedging, and covenant compliance and reporting. Advanced Excel and financial modelling are second nature, and you can explain a treasury position as clearly to a non-finance operator as to the board. Experience of treasury or cash flow forecasting systems is important (familiarity with Agicap is a bonus, not a must). \n Why this role \n You'll get scope, ownership and visibility that's hard to find in a larger, more established treasury team — the chance to shape how a growing group manages its cash and funding, with a direct line to senior leadership and a front-row seat on the M&A that's driving it all.

Senior Finance Manager | PE-Backed Multi-Site Scaleup | London / Hybrid \n \n Harmonic are delighted to be partnering with a PE-backed, founder-led membership scaleup built for the creative industries in their search for a Senior Finance Manager. \n \n The Client \n \n The business gives its members access to world-class creative and workspace facilities on flexible terms. It has grown from a single London site to a profitable multi-site estate with a fast-growing member base, and has recently completed a significant private equity investment alongside backing from a group of institutional investors and well-known operators from the workspace and creative worlds. \n \n Further openings are already in the pipeline, with a rollout plan behind them and a long-term plan to build towards an exit. \n \n Finance has been handled to date by an outsourced accounting team and a fractional CFO. This is the first senior finance hire the business has made in-house. \n \n The Role \n \n Reporting directly to the CEO and Co-Founder, the Senior Finance Manager will be the source of truth for the business - the person the leadership team, the board and the investors turn to for a clear and current picture of performance. \n \n At the centre of the role sits the company financial model, including the multi-site expansion model. It is rebuilt monthly and it is how the business decides where and how it grows. Around it you will own cash flow, the budgeting and reforecasting cycle, the monthly reporting pack and the board pack, and build the commercial insight that explains what the numbers are telling the business. \n \n You will not inherit a finished finance function. You will design it: the processes, the systems, the reporting, and in time the team beneath you. There is real appetite for an AI-first approach, so there is scope to automate workflows and build a best in class function. \n \n As the estate grows and the finance function grows with it, there is a path to Finance Director, alongside meaningful equity in a business being built for a significant exit. \n \n Key Responsibilities \n\n • Own and maintain the company financial model, including the multi-site expansion model, refreshing and re-baselining it monthly so it remains the version the board and investors make decisions from\n, • Own the rolling cash flow forecast: monitor liquidity, flag risk early, and run scenario and sensitivity analysis with the CEO to support decisions on new sites, capex and growth\n, • Run the budgeting and reforecasting cycle end to end: set and own the timetable, coordinate inputs from department and site leads, consolidate into the company budget, then track actuals and hold budget holders to their numbers\n, • Take draft management accounts from the outsourced accountants and refine, challenge and quality-check them into a clear monthly pack (P&L, balance sheet and cash flow) with variance analysis against budget and prior period\n, • Build the board pack and act as the finance point of contact for the board and private equity investor, producing investor-ready reporting and commentary that holds up to scrutiny\n, • Develop the reporting around the real drivers of the business, including utilisation, member acquisition and churn, and site-level unit economics, and bring a point of view to commercial decisions from pricing to new sites\n, • Take ultimate accountability for statutory and administrative compliance (year end accounts, VAT, EMI filings), managing the outsourced accounting firm to deadline, and own credit control in-house to keep debtor days low\n, • Build a modern, AI-first finance function: automate repetitive work, improve systems, and pull operational, accounting and CRM data into one reliable picture of the business\n\n \n Essential Experience \n\n • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)\n, • Proven experience as a Finance Manager or Financial Controller in an SME, scale-up or multi-site business, having genuinely owned the function rather than a slice of it\n, • Track record of improving finance systems and processes, with a genuine appetite for AI and automation.\n, • Strong financial modelling and cash flow forecasting skills, with real fluency in Excel or Sheets. You have built and maintained a model that a board actually made decisions on\n, • Experience owning a budgeting and reforecasting cycle, including holding non-finance budget holders accountable to it\n, • Exceptional attention to detail\n\n \n Desirable Experience \n\n • Experience in a multi-site, bricks-and-mortar rollout business: hospitality, leisure, gyms, coffee, hotels, retail or flexible workspace\n, • Exposure to a private equity or institutionally backed business, including board and investor reporting\n, • Experience of physical expansion, site investment or capex planning\n, • Genuine interest in the media, music, film, or advertising space\n\n \n Package \n Salary: £75,000 - £85,000 + equity \n Location: London (2-3 days in office) \n Start Date: Flexible (ASAP ideal) \n At Harmonic, we are dedicated to fostering an inclusive and equitable workplace. We actively welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds and assure you that every candidate will be thoughtfully considered for the roles we represent, without regard to race, religion, gender expression, disability, or sexual orientation.
