Part of Iconic Hotels & Resorts, The Lensbury is located on the Banks of the River Thames at Teddington and is home to an exclusive leisure club, a 155 bedroom hotel, meeting and events space, restaurant and bar, Spa and 25 acres of gardens and grounds. Reporting to the Grounds & Gardens Manager/Head Gardener, you will be supporting the team in the maintenance and upkeep of The Lensbury’s Grounds and Gardens. This role is for 20 hours per week over either 4 or 5 days, must include Mondays and Fridays. • Litter picking and bin emptying around the whole of The Lensbury site, • Ensure all entrances, exits, and fire escapes are accessible and clear of leaves, grass, moss, etc, • Ensure all hard surface, patios, pathways, carpark gullies are correctly maintained, weeded and moss free and all external areas are kept clean, tidy, and always well presented, • Undertake leaf blowing, clearance of all carparks, pathways etc., • Ensure that the tennis court surrounds are kept leaf, litter & debris free and well presented at all times, • Edging of pathways, • Undertake gritting and snow clearing as required., • Clean and maintain the outdoor furniture, • Good communicator with a can-do attitude, and the ability to work unsupervised/independently or as part of the wider team when required., • Experience using hand tools and operating handheld machinery (blowers, strimmers etc) - (desirable but not essential as training can be provided)., • Driving licence (preferred)., • Some flexibility to work outside of standard hours for special events etc., • Staff Discounts at The Lensbury and across some Iconic Hotels & Resorts properties, • Use of some leisure facilities, including gym & swimming pool, • EAP with 24/7 helpline for you and your family, • Benefits portal with Hospitality Rewards, offering discounts across major brands, • Staff Awards and Social events throughout the year, • Free meals whilst on duty, • Cycle to work scheme, • Free parking, • Refer a Friend programme, • Paid annual leave of 28 days including public holidays pro-rota, • Access to professional development and training, • A vibrant, supportive team culture in a stunning riverside location #J-18808-Ljbffr
