Receptionist Administrator – Edinburgh, Scotland Location: Edinburgh, Scotland Position Type: Permanent, Full-time | Receptionist Administrator Industry: Chartered Accountancy / Business Support & Administration Salary: £22,000 – £26,000 (depending on experience and qualifications) About the Role We’re representing a well-established and highly regarded independent accountancy and business advisory firm based in Edinburgh, known for delivering trusted financial and advisory services to SMEs, owner-managed businesses, and individuals across Scotland. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Receptionist Administrator to join their professional support team. Key Responsibilities • Welcome visitors and provide a professional front-of-house experience, • Answer incoming telephone calls, manage enquiries, and direct messages appropriately, • Scan, distribute, and manage incoming and outgoing mail, • Prepare letters, documentation, and correspondence for clients, • Maintain visitor logs, meeting room bookings, and boardroom diaries, • Update client information and prepare fee notes using Practice Management Software, • Support the smooth day-to-day running of the office, including stationery and kitchen supplies, • Liaise with suppliers regarding office facilities and maintenance requirements, • Carry out general administrative support duties across the wider team, • Assist with Fire Marshal responsibilities where required Ideal Candidate Profile • Previous experience within a busy office or professional services environment, • Minimum of 4 National 5 qualifications (or equivalent), including English at Grade C or above, • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office systems, • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, • Professional, approachable, and client-focused attitude, • High attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Why This Opportunity Stands Out • Competitive salary of £22,000 – £26,000 depending on experience, • Career development opportunities within a growing firm, • Workplace pension and life cover, • Employee Assistance Programme including GP24 access, • Access to wellbeing, fitness, and lifestyle resources, • High street discount platform and employee benefits scheme, • Supportive and collaborative working culture
