The Hilton Birmingham Metropole is now recruiting for a Night Receptionist to join the Front Office team. A Night Receptionist provides night-hour reception services for Guests to contribute to an overall exceptional experience from check-in through check-out and complete audits, as required. The Hilton Birmingham Metropole is now recruiting a full time Night Auditor to join the busy and vibrant Front Office Team. The hotel is in Birmingham's NEC area, close to Birmingham International train station. With 790 bedrooms, 3 Food and Beverage outlets and over 30 meeting spaces, this hotel is a hive of activity. If you are Customer Service Focused with experience working on a busy reception desk, we want to hear from you! Please note you must be flexible with shift patterns including evening and weekend shifts. Hourly Rate of£12.47 per hour Working hours: 23:00 - 07:00, 39 hours/ week contract, full time contract A WORLD OF REWARDS • Travel and food discounts at Hilton hotels internationally (subject to individual outlets), • Free meals on duty, • Discounted membership to onsite LivingWell fitness centre and spa, • Access to Marketplace - shopping with discounts, • Grow your career: access to a network of 6500+ hotels across 100+ countries (subject to local right to work rules), • Holiday: 28 days including bank holidays (increasing yearly), • Pension scheme, • Achieve positive outcomes from Guest queries in a timely and efficient manner, • Ensure an efficient reception experience for Guests, including check in/out, and complete audit procedures, as required, • Complete Night Audit with support of Night team, • Ensure that both the Night Manager and Night Reception Supervisors are kept fully aware of any relevant feedback from guests and, or, other departments, • Demonstrate a high level of customer service at all times, • Attend appropriate training courses, when required, and assist with the Night Team's training and development efforts, • Demonstrate a knowledge of hotel room categories, room rates, packages, promotions and other general product knowledge necessary to perform daily duties, • Maximize room occupancy and use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities, • Use the correct procedures regarding the acceptance of foreign currencies, credit cards and cash in accordance with the hotel credit policy, • Act in accordance with policies and procedures when working with front of house equipment and property management systems, • Follow company brand standards, • Previous experience in a customer-focused industry, • Positive attitude and good communication skills, • Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service, • Excellent grooming standards, • Ability to work on your own and as part of a team, • Competent level of IT proficiency, • Previous experience in cash handling
