About the Role \n We are recruiting on behalf of a confidential client for an experienced and motivated Property Team Leader to join their Property Management team. \n This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in property management who is ready to take the next step into a leadership role, or for an existing team leader looking for a fresh challenge. You'll oversee a busy property portfolio, lead a dedicated team, and play a key role in ensuring excellent service delivery to landlords and tenants alike. \n Key Responsibilities \n Team Leadership \n\n • Lead, motivate and support a team of Property Coordinators and Senior Property Coordinators.\n, • Provide coaching, guidance and day-to-day management to ensure high performance.\n, • Hold regular one-to-one meetings and team meetings.\n, • Manage workloads and ensure service standards and KPIs are achieved.\n, • Support recruitment, onboarding and training where required.\n, • Promote a positive, collaborative and accountable team culture.\n\n Property Portfolio Management \n\n • Oversee the day-to-day management of a diverse property portfolio.\n, • Manage property onboarding, compliance, inspections, maintenance and offboarding.\n, • Monitor occupancy levels and minimise void periods.\n, • Ensure all property records and documentation are accurate and up to date.\n, • Support portfolio growth and landlord retention initiatives.\n\n Landlord Relationships \n\n • Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords.\n, • Act as the main escalation point for landlord enquiries and complex issues.\n, • Oversee rent processing, deposit management and landlord reporting.\n, • Deliver a proactive, professional service that encourages long-term landlord retention.\n\n Compliance & Quality \n\n • Ensure all properties remain fully compliant with current legislation and company standards.\n, • Oversee statutory certification, including Gas Safety Certificates, EPCs and EICRs.\n, • Monitor inspection schedules and maintain accurate compliance records.\n, • Work closely with internal compliance teams to identify and reduce operational risk.\n\n Reporting & Systems \n\n • Maintain accurate property management systems and records.\n, • Produce regular operational and performance reports.\n, • Monitor KPIs including compliance, occupancy and portfolio performance.\n, • Identify opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency.\n\n Operational Support \n\n • Act as the senior operational lead for the Property Team during the maternity cover period.\n, • Support senior management with projects and departmental objectives.\n, • Work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver an excellent customer experience.\n\n About You \n We're looking for someone who has: \n\n • Previous experience in property management, lettings, housing or a similar environment.\n, • Experience leading, supervising or mentoring a team.\n, • A strong understanding of property compliance and landlord management.\n, • Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.\n, • The ability to prioritise a busy workload and work effectively under pressure.\n, • Strong administrative, reporting and IT skills.\n\n It would be an advantage if you also have: \n\n • Experience managing a property portfolio.\n, • Experience using property management software.\n, • Knowledge of HMOs or supported accommodation.\n, • Experience producing operational reports and analysing performance data.\n\n What You'll Receive \n\n • Salary from £30,000 per annum\n, • Fixed-term maternity cover with the opportunity for a permanent position\n, • A supportive and collaborative working environment\n, • Career development opportunities\n, • The chance to make a real impact within a growing property management team\n\n If you're an organised and proactive property professional with leadership experience and are looking for your next opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.
