An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Management Accountant to join a well-established and growing organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, providing accurate financial reporting and supporting key business decisions. \n The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the finance team, ensuring the integrity of financial information, maintaining strong financial controls, and supporting continuous process improvements. \n This role is office-based full time. \n Key Responsibilities \n\n • Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.\n, • Complete balance sheet reconciliations and maintain the general ledger.\n, • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.\n, • Prepare VAT returns and support statutory reporting requirements.\n, • Monitor cash flow and perform bank reconciliations.\n, • Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.\n, • Analyse financial performance and provide insightful commentary to senior management.\n, • Assist with audit preparation and liaise with external auditors.\n, • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal financial controls.\n, • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting efficiencies.\n, • Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to provide financial support and analysis.\n\n Essential Requirements \n\n • Previous experience working as an Accountant, Financial Accountant, Management Accountant or similar.\n, • Part-qualified or fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or qualified by experience (QBE).\n, • Strong experience using ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, NetSuite, Unit4, Workday Financials, Sage 100 or similar.\n, • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and financial reporting.\n, • Excellent understanding of financial accounting principles and month-end processes.\n, • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.\n, • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.\n, • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.\n, • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.\n\n Desirable \n\n • Experience working within a multi-entity or group structure.\n, • Knowledge of process improvement and financial systems implementation.\n, • Experience with Power BI or other reporting tools.\n, • Experience working in a commercial, charity, not-for-profit or financial services environment.\n
