Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth. Duties • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with company objectives to drive revenue growth., • Industry Networking: Represent the company at trade fairs and industry events to build brand presence and generate leads when required., • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Procurement, and Finance to ensure seamless execution of commercial initiatives., • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability and success., • Performance Management: Set clear KPIs, monitor team performance, and provide coaching and feedback., • Pipeline & Forecasting: Manage the sales pipeline, ensure accurate sales forecasting, and collaborate with supply chain for demand planning., • Customer Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and actively pursue new business opportunities, including key accounts and strategic partners., • Joint Business Planning: Collaborate with key accounts on promotional strategies, pricing, and volume forecasts to drive mutual growth., • Compliance: Ensure all sales activities comply with food safety regulations and industry standards (e.g., HACCP, BRC) and collaborate with the technical department for compliance., • Budget Oversight: Manage the sales budget effectively to optimise resources and ROI., • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, market insights, and KPIs., • Channel Development: Drive growth across multiple channels including wholesale. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field the food and beverage industry is advantageous., • Previous experience in customer service or phone etiquette is advantageous., • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets., • Strong leadership and team management skills., • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities., • In-depth knowledge of the food and beverage market and industry trends., • Ability to travel for client meetings and industry events when required., • Valid driver's license and ability to commute to South Darenth.
