Head of Sales\n Department: Sales \n Employment Type: Full Time \n Location: Southampton \nDescription\n\n • Employment type: Permanent\n, • Salary: Negotiable\n, • Standard Hours: Flexible start / 40 hours per week\n, • Location: Southampton\n, • Develop and implement sales plans to drive new aircraft, pre-owned, brokerage, modifications, and upgrade sales.\n, • Align sales activities with overall business goals and market trends.\n, • Ensure efficient execution of sales strategies, optimise internal processes for maximum productivity.\n\nNegotiating & Delivering Sales\n\n, • Lead negotiations for new and pre-owned aircraft sales, modifications, and brokerage deals.\n, • Structure and close transactions, ensuring smooth execution to contract signature.\n, • Work closely with commercial, finance, and operations teams to finalise quotations and contracts.\n\nOperational Oversight & Problem Solving\n\n, • Oversee day-to-day sales operations, addressing workflow challenges as they arise.\n, • Collaborate with internal departments to streamline the sales process.\n\nReporting & Performance Tracking\n\n, • Monitor sales and marketing performance metrics, ensuring alignment with company objectives.\n, • Prepare reports and sales forecasts for senior leadership.\n, • Update sales tracking tools to improve data-driven decision-making.\n\nTeam Leadership & Management\n\n, • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales teams to exceed sales targets.\n, • Provide hands-on leadership, actively supporting sales staff in negotiations, deal structuring, and customer management.\n, • Foster a high-performance culture through coaching, goal setting, and accountability.\n\nCustomer Relationship Management\n\n, • Maintain strong relationships with aircraft buyers, sellers, and aviation stakeholders.\n, • Ensure exceptional customer experience throughout the sales cycle.\n, • Address customer concerns and negotiate contracts to close deals successfully.\n\nMarket Growth & Business Development\n\n, • Identify new market opportunities, expanding customer networks and partnerships.\n, • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.\n, • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.\n\nTraining & Development\n\n, • Provide training programs to enhance the skills of the sales team.\n, • Ensure team members stay updated on industry trends, aircraft models, and regulatory changes.\n\nSkills, Knowledge and Expertise\n\n, • Proven track record in aircraft sales, brokerage, or high-value asset sales\n, • Experience leading and managing a high-performing sales team\n, • Strong background in business development, deal structuring, and contract negotiation\n, • Hands-on experience with sales forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM tools\n, • Full UK driving licence required\n, • Ability to achieve a UK security clearance\n, • Ability to travel internationally\n, • Second language desirable\n\nBenefits\n\n, • 36 annual leave days (inclusive of Bank and Public Holidays)\n, • Contributory pension scheme with a salary sacrifice option\n, • Private healthcare scheme\n, • Flu vaccination\n, • Dental and optical cover\n, • Employee Assistance Program\n, • Support with learning and professional development (courses and licenses)\n, • Health screening and therapies\n, • Digital GP\n, • Referral bonus\n\n#J-18808-Ljbffr
