Role: Garment Technologist Job Description: • Work across multiple products across Ladieswear, Menswear and Childrenswear. And must be open to learning new specialisms, we are building a lifestyle brand with expanding multifaceted category areas., • Schedules & attends fit sessions and comments to provide vendors with completed technical information regards measurements, tolerances, fitting, workmanship & Packaging, • Checking pre-production and production samples meet the required quality and aesthetic standards., • Strive for continuous improvement in process and product specification, through technical research, interpretation of market information and quality benchmarking, • Help build, develop and maintain technical brand manuals. Communicating this effectively through the supply chain with factories in the UK, Europe & Far east, • Ensure seasonal block/Spec reviews are arranged to validate blocks and grade rules., • Build strong relationships internally and externally to bring credibility to the technical team and promote the value of the technical function within the business., • Alignment with Design to develop product which is fit for purpose with no compromise to quality and fit, • Communicate with third party testing Q.C institutes to ensure quality standards are achieved, • Carry out occasional QC Inspections on incoming goods against sealing samples to required standards and resolving any issues., • Work to the Critical path to meet deadlines., • Work with suppliers to continually improve quality and ethical standards., • Based in our Head office in Cheltenham, UK., • Other duties as required. About You: • Within a commutable distance to our Head office in Cheltenham, UK, or willing to relocate., • Minimum of 3 Year experience, • Previous experience working for a brand preferable, but not essential, • Have strong knowledge in product development, fit, engineering to cost and manufacturing standards., • Must have a detailed understanding of manufacturing techniques across a wide variety of product areas or specialisation., • Must have good interpersonal skills to deal with various cultures and personalities., • Have a strong team collaboration and networking attitude, • Passionate about product with a high attention to detail., • Must be flexible and able to work in a fast -paced environment and be open minded to continuous change and improvement., • You will strive for continuous improvement in process and product specifications., • An understanding of the consumer fit/quality expectations within the business, • Highly organised with strong time management skills., • Computer literate (preferably familiar with Excel, Word, Adobe, PLM systems etc)., • Understanding and awareness of garment testing with ability to interpret test reports against company requirements

Job Description The Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) Manager is responsible for the conduct of the ATO’s approved MCC, APS MCC and MCCI(A) courses. Key Responsibilities include: • Accountable for ensuring that the school is in compliance with regulatory requirements with regard to delivery of Multi crew training., • Define and monitor the required quality and standard of training given by the MCCI(A)’s., • Ensure that all multi pilot training documentation, manuals and courseware are fit for purpose and meet the requirements of the business., • Ensure that multi crew training is delivered to meet Skyborne Airline Academy objective of being the safest, highest quality and customer focused training school in the world., • Hold a current UK Part-FCL MCCI(A) qualification with an EASA Part-FCL MCCI(A) desirable, • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, to motivate and encourage staff, to deal effectively with internal and external contacts ranging from executive to administrative levels., • Demonstrable record of leadership in a training management role., • Extensive experience in training as an instructor for professional pilots license., • SFI/TRI and SFE/TRE experience desirable. Leading with stakeholder and LPA engagement. Working with colleagues and partners to ensure that appropriate and viable developments are achieved and with delivery at the earliest opportunity. To undertake planning appraisals for these sites making recommendations to the board for investment. To manage the sites as with the existing portfolio. Appoint and manage a consultant team to produce robust and timely planning applications to the appropriate planning authority. Working alongside other members of the team to ensure that the proposals meet with the business plan. Manage the submission of applications to an agreed programme. Manage applications through the determination process leading with all stakeholder engagement. Providing detailed handovers to the delivery team upon the successful planning determinations. Identify and mitigate against risk and work with colleagues, partners, and stakeholders to manage risk pre-start of each phase. Work alongside our client's own development teams to support, as instructed on a case-by-case basis, with the management of a consultant team in the development of planning applications. When required, organise, lead/ attend and minute client and /or internal project meetings acting in a professional manner to positively represent Vistry. Resolve problems in collaboration with the project teams and colleagues and share learning to champion continuous improvement and ensure successful delivery of schemes. Promote and represent Vistry Partnerships when appropriate to maximise development opportunities and the reputation of the company.
