Role Technology and Data Manager Industry Medical/Pharma Location: Remote (with occasional travel to Manchester or London hub) Full-time, Permanent Salary: £55,000 to £68,000 + excellent Benefits Hands-on Technology and Data Manager is needed to drive digital transformation and step into a strategic leadership. This is a remote role with occasional travel to their Manchester or London hub. Our client is a leading UKs independent imaging clinic which has invested heavily in data, AI, and digital innovation to enhance patient care and operational excellence. The ideal Technology and Data Manager will own the day-to-day tech operations and play a key role in shaping our long-term digital strategy alongside the CEO and executive team. This is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to take the leap into a broader leadership position, developing toward a future 'Head of Function' role. Role This role is a dynamic mix of operational management, strategic delivery, and hands-on problem-solving. You will: Lead Tech Operations: Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of our core IT systems, data platforms, and infrastructure, working closely with 3rd party providers. Drive Strategy: Collaborate directly with the CEO and executive team to define and deliver the company's ambitious technology, data, and AI roadmap. Deliver Change: Lead key projects, including replacing legacy finance systems (QuickBooks), potentially implementing a new CRM, and integrating AI enhancements for patient engagement and business efficiency. Optimise Specialist Systems: Manage and enhance the performance of specialist mole mapping hardware and work with technical teams to leverage embedded AI for diagnostic support. Build Data Capability: Develop robust data reporting and analytics to provide vital business and operational insight. Ensure Compliance: Uphold best practices in GDPR, information security, and data governance. What You'll Bring: Proven Experience: Demonstrated background in IT, data, or technology management, ideally within a multi-system or growing organisation. Data Expertise: A strong understanding of data management, reporting, and analytics. System Management: Experience managing third-party systems (e.g., CRM, finance, or clinical platforms). Tech Awareness: Familiarity with hardware, embedded AI, or a clear enthusiasm for applied technology and automation.
