What you'll do: • Supporting the entire of the Shotton Mill site as part of the Engineering Department, with the integration between the Process Control Systems and the IT Network., • Working with the Senior Process Control Engineer to provide front line and background diagnostic support and competent fault-finding capabilities across a range of specialist paper machine software and associate systems hardware., • Work with a strong focus on safety, reliability and preventative driven maintenance to provide proactive approach., • Perform all maintenance activities within your capabilities associated with all areas of the Shotton Mill site, including paper machines, winders, stock preparation plant, effluent treatment, biomass boilers and CHP. Also including all facilities and services., • Provide efficient and effective response to breakdowns which have an immediate effect on plant and person safety, environmental release, or plant performance., • Provide support with regular preventative maintenance routines, scheduled maintenance tasks and the repair of critical and non-critical spare parts., • Be part of the site expert team for Process Controls, completing the necessary improvement and corrective tasks to a high standard, whilst ensuring safety is paramount at all the time., • Providing specialist engineering support to the manufacturing production lines, which include – Containerboard and Tissue Paper Machines, Gas and Biofuel CHP and Biogas Effluent treatment plant and other control-based site systems., • For the paper machines, you will be working with DCS, QCS, WIS, WMS, condition monitoring, roll handling and warehouse systems., • Supporting all site control systems, including Valmet DNA and Siemens PCS7. • Provide diagnostic support and competent fault-finding capabilities across a range of specialist software and associated systems hardware. We are now recruiting for Automation Maintenance Technician at our Chester Mail Centre, Chester West Employment Park, Chester, CH1 4PA site.
