Reporting to the Lab Services Manager, this position will work within a diverse team of Medical Events, Hospitality and Senior Lab Technicians, and will be responsible for assisting in all lab service activities within our on‑site cadaveric lab, as well as providing support for the running of our mobile lab facility. The post holder will actively assist senior colleagues in coordinating lab training on the use of new and existing Arthrex products and technologies and provide customer support for physicians, field staff and other colleagues involved in the lab service. • Assist Senior Lab Technicians in stock monitoring and restocking of instruments, consumables, and implants used during training, and prepare the necessary equipment for each training session., • Provide logistical and technical assistance to lab participants., • Assist in inventory management, including recording and ordering as required under the supervision of the Senior Lab Technicians or Arthrolab Manager., • Support the field training team during events in the lab., • Ensure a frictionless workshop process, recognizing situational requirements and taking corresponding action (e.g., disposal of waste, pre‑sorting of instruments)., • Report any technical faults or needed repairs to senior colleagues., • Perform post‑workshop breakdown activities, such as sorting, cleaning, and decontamination of the laboratory and instruments., • Implement key tasks assigned by management in compliance with internal operations, applicable laws, guidelines, and regulations, as well as hygienic and ethical requirements., • Assist the Mobile Lab Manager and Senior Technicians in setting up the mobile lab with the necessary on‑site connections., • Support training teams during events., • Prepare and maintain inventory stock., • Assist with general internal maintenance of the MobileLab., • Maintain the necessary educational level to assist HCPs and provide relevant support., • Proactive with good organisational, time‑management skills and ability to prioritise workload., • Practical, reliable and flexible approach to working., • Strong team player who works well in a fast‑paced environment., • Excellent communication skills, with ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders., • Customer‑focused mindset., • Willingness to train in orthopaedic and general surgical product knowledge and to learn surgical techniques., • Previous role in medical technology or a similar scientific subject area, with professional experience in a surgical speciality, lab or training environment., • Relevant experience may include work as a sterilisation technician, nursing assistant, ODP or APT, providing familiarity with the operating room or laboratory environment and mastering the associated hygiene and safety principles., • We are open to profiles from other environments. This is a full‑time position (40 hours per week) with shift patterns between 07:00 and 18:00, Monday to Friday. Flexibility may be required to work evenings, weekends, public holidays, and occasional travel or overnight stays to support the MobileLab facility.
