Job Title: New Business Development Manager – Warehouse Automation & Robotics (ASRS) Location: Hybrid / Remote] About the Role: We are seeking a highly driven and results-oriented New Business Development Manager to lead growth in our automated warehouse solutions, including ASRS (Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems) and advanced robotics for materials handling. This is a true hunter role, focused on identifying, engaging, and converting new customers across key sectors such as logistics, e-commerce, retail, manufacturing, and 3PL. You will play a critical role in expanding market presence through proactive prospecting, strategic outreach, and pipeline generation. Key Responsibilities: • New Business Acquisition, • Identify, target, and win new customers in warehouse automation and intralogistics, • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate new markets and verticals, • Lead Generation & Prospecting, • Proactively generate leads through cold calling, email campaigns, networking, events, and social selling (e.g. LinkedIn), • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities, • Consultative Selling, • Engage prospects to understand operational challenges and position tailored ASRS and robotics solutions, • Collaborate with engineering and solutions teams to develop proposals and concepts, • Market Intelligence, • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies in warehouse automation, • Identify new opportunities for growth and innovation, • Relationship Building, • Develop relationships with key decision-makers (Operations Directors, Supply Chain Leaders, Logistics Managers), • Establish long-term partnerships with clients, • Sales Process Management, • Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to contract negotiation and closing, • Proven track record in new business sales / hunter roles (B2B), • Experience in one or more of the following:, • Warehouse automation / intralogistics, • ASRS systems, • Robotics / materials handling equipment (MHE), • Supply chain or logistics technology, • Strong lead generation and prospecting skills, • Ability to sell complex, high-value technical solutions, • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, • Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working independently, • Experience selling to industries such as e-commerce, retail, FMCG, or 3PL, • Knowledge of automation technologies (shuttles, AMRs, conveyors, sortation systems), • Competitive base salary + uncapped commission, • Car allowance / company car, • Flexible working (hybrid/remote options), • Opportunity to work with cutting-edge automation and robotics technology, • New business revenue generated, • Number of qualified leads and opportunities created, • Conversion rate from prospect to customer, • Pipeline growth and coverage, • A specific company (e.g., more corporate vs startup tone), • UK vs global market, • More aggressive “hunter” language for high-performance sales cultures
