Cleveland Clinic London are looking to recruit an Echo Physiologist to join our HVTI Team with a competitive salary range on offer, starting from £58,000. This is a full time, permanent role with the following shift patterns: Monday-Friday 0800-2000 (mix of short and long days during service hours) Expectation to work weekends, available as paid overtime on a rotational basis. The post holder will undergo training in specialist echocardiography (i.e. stress, cardiopulmonary stress, bubble, contrast, TOE) and will also contribute to non-clinical tasks and projects such as quality assurance and audit, service improvement, and IT, machine, and infection control maintenance. Cleveland Clinic London is committed to staff development and therefore the post holder will be encouraged to develop additional echocardiography skills and accreditations. Furthermore, they will be supported to attend and participate in relevant meetings and conferences as part of their personal development. What will your duties include? Perform BSE standard echocardiography examinations and reports to ensure the provision of a high-quality advanced adult echo service. With the support of a senior physiologist, assist with innovative practices within the department, such audits and service improvements. Participate in a small team responsible for leading on a non-clinical area (i.e. quality assurance and audit, service improvement, and IT, machine, and infection control maintenance). Manage personal workload and assist other members of staff where required. Support research more widely by working with a team to review and present interesting case studies / clinical abstracts with submission to appropriate journals, where appropriate. What we need from you? BSc Clinical Physiology (Cardiology) or equivalent - essential. Accreditation with BSE or equivalent - essential. Independent practice in echocardiography including performing, analysing, interpreting, and reporting - essential. Experience with SyngoDynamics and/or EPIC - desirable.
