About the Service -Registered Childrens Home Manager Oasis House (Permanent, Full Time) We are looking for an experienced Registered Manager to lead the service, maintain high standards of care, and continue developing a positive culture for both young people and staff. Oasis House is a childrens residential home based in Withington, Manchester, supporting young people aged 1117. The home operates with a strong focus on trauma-informed and therapeutic care, ensuring young people receive safe, consistent and nurturing support. Our aim is to provide a stable environment where young people can develop emotionally, socially and educationally while preparing for independence. The service operates in line with the Childrens Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards, with a clear focus on safeguarding and positive outcomes. The Role You will hold legal responsibility for the home and oversee the day-to-day leadership and management of the service, including: • Leading a positive culture and high standards of care, • Providing strong safeguarding leadership and oversight, • Managing referrals and occupancy, responding quickly to new placement opportunities, • Ensuring the home remains inspection-ready, maintaining compliance and quality systems (Regulation 44/45), • Overseeing care planning and multi-agency collaboration around each young person, • Leading staff recruitment, training, supervision and performance management, • Maintaining oversight of health and safety, fire safety, records and the home environment, • Ensuring accurate record keeping and compliance with regulatory standards, • Minimum 2 years experience as a Registered Manager in a childrens residential setting (or equivalent senior leadership responsibility), • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards), • Strong knowledge of:, • Childrens Homes Regulations 2015, • Quality Standards 2015, • Safeguarding and regulatory compliance, • Experience managing Ofsted inspections and regulatory requirements, • Enhanced DBS, • Full UK driving licence (manual preferred), • Strong leadership, communication and organisational skillsWhat Youll Get, • £55,000 £65,000 salary depending on experience, • Pension scheme, • Sick pay after successful completion of probation, • £5,000 bonus for achieving an Ofsted Outstanding rating, • Supportive senior leadership team, • Opportunities for professional development and career progression, • The opportunity to lead a high-quality therapeutic childrens homeInterview Process, • Two-stage interview process, • Interviews held in person, • Decision typically made within 2 days, • Your Registered Manager experience (homes managed / types of needs supported), • Your previous Ofsted inspection outcomes, • Your notice period and availability JBRP1_UKTJ
