Telesales Executive – Managed Print & Managed IT Services Location - Office Based, Swindon, Wiltshire Reports To - Sales Manager / Business Development Manager Job Purpose Working as part of a small growing team, the Telesales Executive will be responsible for generating new business opportunities for our Managed IT Services (MSP) and Managed Print Services (MPS) offerings. This role focuses on outbound telesales activity, engaging with decision-makers, qualifying prospects, and booking high-quality appointments or closing smaller opportunities directly. Key Responsibilities Sales & Lead Generation • Conduct outbound telesales calls to businesses to promote Managed IT services and Managed Print, • Identify and engage key decision-makers (e.g. IT Managers, Office Managers, Directors), • Qualify leads by understanding client environments, challenges, and requirements, • Generate and book qualified appointments for field sales or account managers, • Manage and progress leads through the CRM system, • Achieve and exceed individual sales and activity targets Product & Solution Knowledge • Develop a working knowledge of Managed IT Services (support, security, cloud, backup, networking), • Develop a strong understanding of Managed Print Services (printers, copiers, document workflows, cost-per-page models) • Clearly articulate the business benefits of MPS and MSP, including cost savings, security, efficiency, and reliability Customer Engagement • Build rapport and credibility with prospects via professional and confident communication, • Handle objections effectively and follow up leads appropriately, • Maintain accurate records of conversations, outcomes, and next steps Administration & Reporting • Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline updates, • Provide regular activity and performance reports, • Work closely with the wider sales and marketing teams Skills & Experience Essential • Confident telephone manner with strong communication skills, • Ability to engage and influence decision-makers, • Target-driven mindset with resilience and persistence, • Good organisational and time-management skills, • Basic IT literacy (CRM systems, Microsoft Office) Desirable • Proven experience in B2B telesales, appointment setting, or inside sales, • Experience selling Managed Print Services, IT services, or other B2B technology solutions, • Understanding of MSP or MPS sales models, • Experience working with CRM systems (e.g. Autotask) Personal Attributes • Self-motivated and results-oriented, • Professional, confident, and articulate, • Resilient and able to handle objections and rejection, • Curious and willing to learn technical products, • Team player with a positive attitude Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) • Number of outbound calls and conversations, • Qualified appointments booked or opportunities created, • Sales revenue generated (where applicable), • Conversion rates and pipeline quality Package & Benefits • Basic salary (minimum wage), • Uncapped commission structure (genuine results driven uncapped earning potential), • 33 Days Holiday (8 Bank Holidays + 25 Days of choice), • Ongoing training and development, • Career progression opportunities, • Pension scheme, • Local gym membership, • Office parking
