Are you an experienced Project Manager with a background in civils, groundworks, or infrastructure projects? This office-based role in Thatcham offers the chance to lead complex, multi-disciplinary contracts, working closely with internal teams and external clients. With regular site visits across the UK, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality infrastructure projects on time and within budget. Why you’ll love this role: • Comprehensive benefits package including company pension, life assurance, medical expenses, and health & wellbeing support, • Performance-related bonus scheme recognising your achievements, • Ongoing training and development opportunities including support towards CSCS certification, • Engaging work environment with cross-functional teams and regular client interaction Pay & Shift: • £36,000 to £40,000 per year, • Monday to Friday Key responsibilities include: • Preparing detailed project plans using MS Project or similar tools, • Managing multiple contracts end-to-end, ensuring milestones and budgets are met, • Applying Lean manufacturing principles to support sales-driven project delivery, • Coordinating resources across departments and subcontractors for seamless project execution, • Overseeing financial management: budgeting, cost tracking, and forecasting, • Administering contracts with a focus on notices, milestones, variations, and dispute resolution, • Implementing risk management strategies and maintaining quality assurance, • Leading clear communication with clients, internal teams, and subcontractors, • Chairing project and site meetings, conducting site surveys, and travelling to UK sites as required What we’re looking for: • Proven project management experience in civils, groundworks or infrastructure (minimum 2 years), • Strong organisational skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, • Proficient in MS Office suite, SharePoint, and MS Project, • Prince2 or APM qualification, • Full UK driving licence, • Desirable: NEC3/NEC4 experience and CSCS certification Aligra have been established since 2007 and have since implemented supply partnerships with a number of the UK’s leading logistics companies.
