To maintain a basic caseload of around 180 Housing Disrepair Pre Litigation cases. This will include complying with the Housing Disrepair pre action protocol, assessing liability, drafting court documentation, issuing court proceedings via Part 7 CPR, complying with court directions, document and letter creating in addition to the use of the telephone/email, review of RICs report, review of medical records, collation of special damages, collage of medical evidence, submission of full details, negotiations and settlements. To comply at all time with the case management system and be responsible for the maintenance and accuracy of its information. To comply with all key dates including court directions, limitation and hearing dates. To be responsible for the pro-active maintenance of their own task pad. Identify any complications within their caseload and immediately refer to their team leader. To assess liability and make an initial assessment of special damages. Contact clients by telephone and maintain regular and pro-active telephone contact with clients as required by our SLA’s. To demonstrate an ability to work to deadlines and be self-sufficient.
