We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Orthopedic Surgeon to join our healthcare team in Edinburgh. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal diseases and injuries through surgical and non-surgical methods. This role requires expertise in performing various orthopedic procedures, providing pre- and post-operative care, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities: • Diagnose and treat bone, joint, muscle, ligament, and tendon conditions., • Perform orthopedic surgeries, including joint replacements, fracture repairs, and arthroscopic procedures., • Conduct patient consultations, physical examinations, and interpret diagnostic imaging., • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans., • Provide excellent patient care and education on recovery and prevention., • Participate in continuing medical education and professional development. Qualifications: • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution., • Completion of an accredited orthopedic surgery residency program., • Board certification or eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery., • Valid medical license to practice in the UK, preferably in Scotland., • Proven experience in orthopedic surgical techniques., • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills., • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
