We’re looking for a Communications & PR Manager to join us on a 12‑month maternity cover contract and play a key role in shaping how we tell our story, both internally and externally.\n \nThis is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys working collaboratively, and can confidently lead our communications strategy to support the continued growth of our organisation.\n \nRecruitment Process: Closing date: 10th May, Stage 1 interviews : W/C 18th May; Stage 2 interviews : W/C 25th May\n \nAbout the Role\nAs our Communications & PR Manager, you will set the strategic direction for all communication activity across the business. You’ll enhance our online presence, strengthen engagement with our community and staff, and ensure our brand values are consistently communicated across all channels.\n \nWe’re looking for someone who is solutions‑focused, proactive, and able to see the bigger picture, identifying opportunities, creating compelling content, and delivering measurable results.\n \nKey Responsibilities\n\nDevelop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy to support business growth.\nWork with internal teams and external agencies to tell our story effectively across all platforms.\nSupport employee attraction, engagement, and retention through strong internal and external communications.\nManage brand consistency and creative content across all channels.\nOversee all social media accounts and website content to ensure cohesive messaging.\nLine manages the Digital Marketing Coordinator, providing direction, support, and performance oversight.\nSource and create engaging content to enhance employee engagement and brand awareness.\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.\nCoordinate press releases, award submissions, and marketing materials.\nMonitor and evaluate communication activities to support continuous improvement.\nRepresent the organisation at networking events, conferences, and industry forums.\nEnsure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including data protection and health and safety.\n \nWhat we're looking for\n\nA degree in Communications, PR, Marketing, or a related field, or 5+ years’ relevant experience\nStrong communication, interpersonal, organisational, and project‑management skills\nProficiency in social media management, digital content creation, and internal communication platforms\nCreative problem‑solver with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work at pace\nConfident working independently and collaboratively\nCommitment to zero tolerance of abuse or discrimination\n \nWhat We Offer\nWe believe in supporting our people to thrive.
