About the Role We are seeking experienced window and door installers to work on residential and commercial projects. You'll be responsible for the removal, installation, and finishing of windows and doors, ensuring a high standard of workmanship and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Remove old windows and doors, preparing openings for new installations. Measure and fit windows and doors accurately to ensure proper alignment and sealing. Install and secure products using the appropriate tools and techniques. Apply insulation, weatherstripping, and caulking to prevent air and water leaks. Complete interior and exterior finishing work, including trim and molding. Ensure proper functioning of windows, doors, locks, and hardware. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. HGV Class 2 Driver required - Basingstoke Overview £18.00 per hour with a minimum of 10hrs paid per day also with paid breaks We are seeking dedicated and skilled HGV Class 2 drivers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to work independently while adhering to company policies and regulations. Duties * Operate HGV Class 2 vehicles in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations. * Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. * Transport goods to designated locations efficiently and safely, following planned routes. * Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery notes and vehicle logs. * Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding any issues or delays encountered during transport. * Adhere to all health and safety regulations while on the road and at delivery sites. * Assist in loading and unloading cargo as required, ensuring proper handling of goods. Requirements * Must have held an HGV 2 licence for a minimum of 1 year. * No more than 6 points no DD/ DR Code convictions. * Hold a current valid CPC Card (DQC). * Understand and be able to comply with Driver hours and WTD legislation. * Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly. * Should comply with on-site health and safety requirements. * Good geographical knowledge of the south of England. * Have the experience and knowledge to be able to divert cross country to and from locations as and when signs, traffic or other conditions dictate.
