    We're looking for an experienced Tandoor Chef to join our kitchen team. You'll be responsible for the tandoor section — marinating, skewering and cooking meats, and producing fresh breads to order throughout service. You'll also be expected to cover the grill section when needed, so experience across both is essential. What you'll be doing • Running the tandoor section during service, working to consistent quality and timing, • Preparing and marinating meats and vegetables to our recipes and specifications, • Making naan, roti and other breads fresh to order, • Covering and supporting the grill section as required, • Managing prep levels and stock rotation for your section, • Maintaining kitchen hygiene and food safety standards at all times, • Working closely with the wider kitchen team during busy service What we're looking for • Proven experience as a tandoor chef in a busy restaurant kitchen, • Confident on the grill — this is a genuine requirement, not a nice-to-have, • Good understanding of South Asian marinades, spicing and cooking methods, • Able to work at pace and stay calm through peak service, • Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate (or willing to obtain), • Right to work in the UK, • Available for evenings and weekends What we offer • Competitive hourly rate, • Staff meals on shift, • Ongoing training and progression opportunities
