With a particular focus on vulnerable students, you will provide strong pastoral support and leadership, helping young people overcome barriers to learning, attendance, behaviour and wellbeing.Working closely with the Assistant Headteacher (Behaviour and Attendance), the wider pastoral team, Inclusion team, SENDCo, teaching staff, families and external agencies, you will help ensure students receive the right support at the right time. You will monitor progress and wellbeing, develop targeted interventions, support excellent attendance and behaviour, and build strong relationships with students and their families.This is a varied and rewarding role for someone who understands the challenges young people can face and is confident responding to sensitive or complex situations.
