Location: Luton Start Date: September Tags: INDED, INDPEQ, INDEPUNQ Interaction Education is working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school to recruit a qualified and enthusiastic Teacher of Science. This is a full-time, permanent position offering the opportunity to join a committed, friendly and professional department within a thriving and ambitious school. The Role: • Deliver engaging and high-quality Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (Biology, Chemistry and Physics)., • Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum and GCSE (AQA specification)., • Set high expectations for all pupils, deepening knowledge and maximising achievement., • Assess pupils' work systematically and use data to inform planning, target setting and curriculum development., • A welcoming and inclusive secondary school experiencing growth due to increasing pupil numbers., • A warm but disciplined culture built on clear routines, systems and structures., • Supportive senior leadership team and a dedicated, professional Science department., • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)., • Experience delivering Science across KS3 and KS4, including GCSE (AQA)., • Strong classroom management and communication skills., • Commitment to inclusive teaching and learning., • Ability to use data effectively to inform planning and raise attainment., • Start Date: September 2026, • Salary: AST 1–12 (dependent on experience), • Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent The Trust reserves the right to interview and appoint a suitable candidate before the closing date.
