The role As a Bar Assistant Manager, you'll work closely with the Bar Manager to run the day-to-day bar operation at Brasserie Olivia. You'll lead and support the bar team during busy services, making sure drinks are prepared quickly, consistently and to the highest standard. You'll support the Bar Manager with rotas, ordering, stock and waste, while helping train and develop the team. Our bar sits at the heart of the restaurant, so you'll also be present with our guests, bringing energy, personality and great hospitality. What success looks like • You'll help run and organise a bar where drinks are prepared quickly and consistently, even during the busiest services., • You'll ensure the bar is fully prepared for service, with stock, equipment and mise en place ready before the first guests arrive., • You'll maintain excellent standards across cocktails and drinks, making sure everything is consistent and beautifully presented., • You'll support the Bar Manager with rotas, ordering, stock management and waste control, helping the bar run efficiently., • You'll coach, train and support bartenders, helping build a confident, knowledgeable and high-performing team., • You'll support recruitment by coordinating trial shifts and identifying candidates who will strengthen the team., • You'll create a great guest experience, interacting naturally with guests and bringing positive energy to the restaurant., • You'll work closely with the floor and kitchen teams to keep service running smoothly throughout every shift. What you'll bring • You're already working as a Bar Assistant Manager, or you're an experienced Senior Bartender ready for the next step., • You have strong experience working in a high-volume restaurant or bar environment., • You have excellent cocktail knowledge and are confident in preparing all the classics quickly and consistently., • You have experience with the operational side of running a bar, including staff rotas, ordering, stock management and waste control., • You're confident leading a team, giving feedback and helping bartenders develop, • You're quick on your feet, stay calm under pressure and know how to keep things moving during a busy service., • You're positive, presentable and comfortable interacting with guests and creating a great atmosphere., • Good wine knowledge would be a plus.     Position: Shop Kit Kemp Warehouse & Inventory Coordinator (4 months contract) The Warehouse & Inventory Coordinator is responsible for the efficient day-to-day management of the Shop Kit Kemp warehouse operations and maintaining accurate inventory records across Shop Kit Kemp's stock holdings. The role will ensure that goods are correctly received, checked, stored, recorded, while maintaining a well-organised warehouse and accurate stock information to support the Shop Kit Kemp team. Key Responsibilities • Manage the day-to-day running and organisation of the warehouse., • Receive deliveries, checking quantities, condition and accompanying paperwork against orders and delivery notes., • Accurately record all incoming and outgoing stock (transfers to the Ham Yard Shop)., • Maintain up-to-date inventory records, any queries reporting to the Group Retail Manager, • Ensure stock is correctly labelled, stored and easily identifiable., • Monitor stock levels and highlight shortages, surplus stock, damaged items, or discrepancies reporting to the Group Retail Manager., • Assist with stock counts and regular inventory checks, investigating and resolving discrepancies., • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment., • Ensure stock is stored appropriately to prevent damage, loss, or deterioration., • Follow all relevant health and safety procedures and ensure safe manual handling practices., • Some packing shop orders will be required; however, the main responsibility will be the stock Skills & Experience • Previous warehouse, stock control, or inventory experience preferred., • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail., • Good understanding of stock management and inventory control., • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple requests in a busy environment., • Good communication skills and ability to work with delivery suppliers and the internal teams., • Practical, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently., • Physically able to move and handle stock (upto 25kg) safely where required.
