We are looking for a Senior Product Line Manager to join our Christchurch, Dorset team!As a Senior Product Line Manager, will have product ownership for the flight recorder product line within the Customer Facing team, liaising between the customer base and the internal engineering and manufacturing teams. Assessing needs and opportunities for new products through research and feasibility analysis. Leading commercialization effortMaintaining market position of products by managing existing product lines and competitive market information including forecasting, product positioning and pricing strategyDeveloping goals, budget and strategic business plans for the product line. Recommending ways to expand sales and profitability in specific marketsProviding sales staff with training, comparative product analysis; feature and benefit summaries; supporting promotional material; target customers; and product marketing strategies.Works with Technical Publications, Engineering and marketing to ensure high-quality production of product technical literature.Potential to represent the Company within industry working groups to define future recorder requirementsWhat You BringBachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent related work experienceFamiliarity with high performance embedded system design and standards in defence/aerospaceAn appreciation of aircraft avionics systems would be beneficialAbility to travel, both domestic and internationalStrong oral and written communication skills with knowledge of MS OfficeMaster's Degree desirableWho We AreCurtiss-Wright's Defense Solution division is a trusted, proven leader, delivering superior products and services that meet the defense and aerospace industries' toughest challenges with best-in-class value.
