Primary Teacher Location: Durham Organisation: Hello Education Contract Type: Temporary (with both short-term and long-term opportunities available) Inspire. Lead. Educate. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, delivering high-quality teaching and fostering a positive and engaging learning environment. Key Responsibilities Plan, deliver and assess high-quality lessons across KS1 and/or KS2 in line with the national curriculum. Create an inclusive, stimulating classroom environment that encourages pupil engagement and progress. Support pupils individual learning needs through effective differentiation and personalised learning approaches. Establish and maintain positive behaviour expectations to ensure a focused and productive learning space. Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and school leadership to promote whole-school success. Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and communicate effectively with parents and carers. Contribute to school activities, events and initiatives that support a strong sense of community. Person Specification We welcome applications from individuals who: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have successfully completed their ECT period. Are confident and adaptable when teaching across different year groups and school settings. Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate a strong commitment to creating engaging, meaningful learning experiences. Are patient, empathetic and dedicated to supporting pupils individual needs and progress.
