A Data Centre Electrical Shift Engineer is required in Hayes to maintain critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure within a 24/7 data centre environment. You'll join a new shift engineering team ahead of the data centre becoming operational, working across critical power and cooling systems. The role includes required technical training, including HV training with the opportunity to become an appointed HV Authorised Person. The Role As the Data Centre Electrical Shift Engineer, you'll: Complete planned and reactive maintenance across critical electrical and mechanical systems. Diagnose faults across LV distribution, switchgear, UPS systems, generators and lighting. Support HVAC, chilled water, CRAC/CRAH units, pumps and associated mechanical plant. Monitor BMS and EPMS platforms, responding appropriately to alarms and system events. Complete inspections, permits, isolations and accurate maintenance records and logbooks.
