Role Overview As a Cleaner / Kitchen Porter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness, organisation, and hygiene standards across the kitchen, guest areas, toilet and outdoor terrace. Your work will directly contribute to a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for both guests and team members. Key Responsibilities Kitchen Porter Duties • Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment efficiently, • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including floors and surfaces, • Assist with waste disposal and recycling, • Support kitchen team with basic tasks as required, • Ensure compliance with all food safety and hygiene standards Cleaning Duties (Public Areas & Toilets) • Clean and maintain guest restrooms to a high standard, • Ensure all public areas are tidy, clean, and well-presented at all times, • Replenish cleaning supplies and toiletries as needed, • Respond promptly to any cleaning requests during service Terrace Maintenance • Clean and maintain outdoor terrace areas, • Ensure tables, chairs, and floors are clean and presentable, • Assist in setting up and resetting terrace areas, • Monitor cleanliness throughout service, especially during busy periods Requirements Experience • Previous experience in cleaning, kitchen porter, or hospitality support roles preferred, • Experience working in a fast-paced environment is an advantage Skills & Attributes • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness, • Reliable, punctual, and hardworking, • Ability to work efficiently and independently, • Positive attitude and willingness to support the team, • Ability to work under pressure during busy periods Additional Requirements • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays, • Good understanding of hygiene and safety standards, • Physically able to carry out manual tasks What We Offer • Competitive salary, • Opportunity to be part of an exciting new opening, • Training and development opportunities, • Staff meals on duty, • Supportive and inclusive working environment Schedule Full-time position with shift-based scheduling based on operational needs.
