Senior Medical Negligence Litigation Executive - (Solicitor 3 years' + PQE) £35,000 - £55,000 depending on experience A great new opportunity has come up for an experienced Clinical Negligence Lawyer to join a well known litigation firm in Bolton! Offering a fantastic salary of up to £45,000, this role is perfect for qualified or non-qualified Clinical Negligence Lawyers with at least 3 years' of experience. This role will see you responsible for : Handling your own varied caseload of both pre-litigated and litigated Clinical Negligence files, including both fast and multi-track matters Deal with cases independently and without supervision from start to finish Support junior staff members to ensure that they are given the best possibilities for success Work to targets set by the firm and ensure that these are met or exceeded at all times Conduct relevant investigations in order to repudiate and/or conclude the claim. Undertaking Court Telephone Hearings Timely and accurate maintenance of all case management, billing and management information systems Correspondence and telephone calls Reviewing files Ideally, you will be an experienced Clinical Negligence Lawyer who has dealt with these cases for at least 3 years. Whilst it is preferable to be a qualified solicitor this is not a necessity, although exposure to more complex multi-track files is essential. You will be confident in litigation, and have the confidence to independently work on your own caseload with little supervision (although there will be a support network in place).
We are currently looking for an experienced Costs Draftsman to work in a busy law firm in Bolton. The role will involve: • Drafting larger bills and budgets. • Drafting Replies to Points of Dispute. • Negotiation of Costs to settlement. • Drafting Budgets and associated documentation • Working to deadlines • Liaising and Reporting to Solicitor Clients • Diary Management • Keeping in constant touch with the clients to ensure communication and continuous work flow. • Use of in-house case management system • Keeping up to date with regulatory changes • Research using internal and external resources The ideal candidate: • Excellent organisation skills • Ability to draft bills on Multi Track matters, predominantly on person injury matters. • IT Skills (Excel/Word) • In the process of completing or have completed the LPC
