Could you be our missing piece Adullam has opportunities available to join our support team in Bury. About the role Service Coordinator • The main purpose of this role is to provide support to people with multiple and complex needs as part of a service for those who have lost their home or been rough sleeping., • You will help a service user to develop the skills needed to move on into independent living/permanent housing via a person-centred support package that is tailor made to suit the needs of everyone accessing the service., • The role works on a rota to contribute to the staffing of a 24-hours-a-day service., • The role is full time of 37.5 hours per week. The shift pattern is 7.5 hours a day between the hours of 8am and 8.30pm weekdays with an occasional weekend shift (currently one every 3 weeks) to deliver activities and some elements of the service outside of normal working hours. We are looking for a Service Coordinator with: • Experience of managing a caseload of service users., • An awareness of issues relating to vulnerable individuals and those that have faced multiple disadvantages., • Experience in helping others understand their goals and helping them to achieve an outcome., • Skills in recording and reporting case notes via an online Customer Relationship Management system., • Experience of working within safeguarding policies and procedures and of identifying monitoring and reporting safeguarding concerns., • A flexible resilient thoughtful therapeutic approach to working with people., • Practical skills to support service users in activities of daily living required for independence., • An ability to motivate and empower service users to have greater control and choice over their life and opportunities.
