What We’re Looking For: Flexible working hours £26-£34 per hour Weekly pay Location dependant on assignments Following school term times and hours As a Tutor for Chalkline, you would be considered an agency worker. There is no need register as self-employed, but if you prefer it that way, we can still work with you. Hours & Pay: As an agency worker, you would be paid for each hour of tutoring delivered, and assignments (along with number of hours required each week) would be discussed and agreed before sessions begin. You will be assisting a lead tutor in delivering our new program, ‘Educational Enrichment at The Trust.’ Working in a strong team of three (one lead tutor and two assistants), you will help create links between local primary schools, parents and students to further local young people’s educational development. You will be required to attend 4, 2-hour sessions a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and ideally Saturday) where you will be responsible for administrative duties and supporting students. We are currently looking for an energetic and passionate Manager to teach & inspire small groups of 7-11 & 12-18 year olds at our Canary Wharf/ Isle of Dogs school on a Saturday. The successful candidate would have good teaching experience in either electric guitar, bass guitar, drums or vocals, and a passion for teaching children aged 7+. They are required to drive to the venue and is responsible for the set up, run and logistics of the session, with help of a Session Assistant. This position involves working with children therefore the successful applicant will be required to apply for an enhanced DBS disclosure, or already hold one that has been issued within the last 3 years.
