Consumer Engagement Website Manager Rate: Up to £39.57 per hour Contract: 12 months (FTC) Location: Basingstoke Hours: 37.5 per week Business Unit: Central Services Reports to: Consumer Engagement Lead, Northern European Hub Hybrid/Remote: Hybrid The Role The Consumer Engagement Website Manager is responsible for ensuring the organisation’s consumer-facing web presence is engaging, informative, relevant, intuitive, useful, and supportive. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams to keep content accurate, timely, and effective across the Northern European Hub (UK & Nordics). You’ll own the strategy, roadmap, and day-to-day performance of the website, ensuring all content is compliant and continuously optimised. Key Responsibilities • Develop the website strategy and roadmap/plan for the Northern European Hub., • Own planning, execution, and optimisation of website content—from global/evergreen to local market content., • Work with the creative agency to localise global campaigns and build relevant local content that delivers measurable impact., • Liaise with Legal/Regulatory to ensure all content is compliant., • Partner with BI&A and be accountable for measurement, monitoring, and optimisation for continuous improvement., • Collaborate with IT and Global Web teams to deliver a stable, future-fit platform., • Work with internal teams (e.g., Marketing, Market Research, Comms, Digital, Sales, Medical Affairs, Legal) and external partners (agencies, vendors) to deliver better experiences for key audiences (HCPs, job seekers, corporate comms)., • Monitor the external environment (search trends, competitor activity, regulatory changes) and adjust the website plan accordingly. Key Skills Required • Project Management: Proven ability to coordinate complex, multi-stakeholder projects under tight timelines, keeping teams aligned and informed., • Consumer Insight: Strong grasp of consumer research methods, insight generation, and translating data into clear website actions., • Website & Content Delivery: Experience developing, localising, and amplifying content for UK & Nordic markets; UI/UX collaboration; platform migration experience a plus., • SEO: Track record building SEO strategies, improving search visibility, and partnering with IT on technical SEO while guiding content teams on on-page optimisation; aware of future fit for GenAI and championing microsite migrations., • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Able to embed new processes and capabilities, drive adoption, and amplify the consumer voice across functions., • Data-Driven Decision Making: Comfortable with analytics to evaluate performance, identify improvements, and make evidence-based decisions., • Communication: Excellent at conveying complex ideas, strategy, and expectations to diverse stakeholders. Qualifications & Experience • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)., • 7+ years’ experience in consumer marketing for websites., • Formal project management experience/qualifications; able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment., • Experience leading or motivating cross-functional teams and agency partners., • High proficiency in data analysis and deriving actionable insights., • Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills., • Resilience and experience delivering consumer-focused change within a healthcare setting.
