Your new role As Interim HR Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day to day operations of the HR function as well as all transactional elements of the employee life cycle. You will ensure that the HR team are meeting their SLA's as well as offering an excellent customer service to the business. You will be responsible for all Onboarding and Off boarding of employees, Coordinating payroll, Managing our employee management system, Owning all employee documentation as well as Managing benefits. You will partner with internal stakeholders to implement of human resource policies to ensure employees have a positive, transparent and engaging HR experience as well as supporting current and future business needs through initiatives that support the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of employees' skills, training and general well-being. What you'll need to succeed CIPD qualified, you will have experience of working in a HR shared service or HR Operations Manager role encompassing the end to end employee lifecycle, gained within a fast paced commercial businesses. You will be able to demonstrate process improvement initiatives that you have led to streamline and improve HR processes. You will be immediately available to start a new role and be able to commit to a 6 month contract. Reporting to the Finance Director and overseeing one assistant duties will include Monthly Management Accounts preparation and variance reporting and analysis . The role Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Accounts Payable Manager will manage the cost reporting and accounts payable process, including reconciliations related to the AP process. Responsibilities: Completion of monthly management reporting and variance analysis. Manage the PO, invoice and payment cycle, and ensuring AP is controlled effectively, including liaising with procurement and budget owners. Management of cost analysis and control, especially against budget and partnering with FP&A to understand any variances. Month-end close activities including accruals, prepayments, journal postings and review of results. Supervision of bank accounts and bank reconciliations. Management of expense claims and processes around corporate credit cards. Provide support to the business and ad hoc reporting. Proposing improvements to processes and controls, as appropriate. About you: The successful candidate will demonstrate the following experience, skills and behaviours: Previous management accounting and reporting experience; and extensive accounts payable experience. Previous cost analysis experience. Accountancy part-qualified, for example ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent. Advanced analytical techniques.
