Job Description Position Summary The purpose of the Crew Member - Piadina Artist is to ensure operational efficiency and deliver high-quality service to create a positive customer experience in the store. This involves performing all activities necessary to prepare, cook, and fill piadina in compliance with food safety regulations and workplace safety standards. In addition, associates are responsible for managing raw material supplies, maintaining cleanliness and order in both the kitchen and dining area, as well as handling the cash register and customer payments. The main goal is to guarantee a positive customer experience by offering high-quality piadina prepared accurately and promptly. This requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of operational procedures. Associates must also be able to resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction and handling requests in a professional manner. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Perform store opening procedures (switching on lights, machines, etc.) as instructed., • Prepare the product lines required for daily needs., • Roll out, cook, and fill piadina using specific equipment (dough stretcher, slicer, griddle), while strictly complying with food handling and workplace safety regulations., • Ensure proper supply of raw materials in the kitchen and maintain production readiness before, during, and after peak hours, according to given instructions., • Dispose of expired or spoiled raw materials and products, strictly following procedures., • Clean and maintain the kitchen (worktops, refrigerated counters, utensils/equipment such as hood, griddle, etc.) several times a day and at store closing, as directed by the Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, or assigned colleague., • Clean and maintain the dining area (floors and furniture) multiple times during the day and at closing, using available tools and according to instructions and schedules provided., • Clean and maintain employee areas (changing rooms, bathrooms) and customer areas (dining area and bathrooms)., • Keep the cold storage room clean and organized., • Fill in the cleaning log according to instructions., • Record temperatures (vertical refrigerators, cold storage, refrigerated counters, hot plate display, beverage display)., • Perform cash register opening procedures, checking cash availability and ensuring equipment functionality., • Take customer orders, optimizing every step of the sales process., • Handle payments (cash, debit cards, credit cards, meal vouchers, etc.), verifying their validity according to procedures and using the tools provided., • Carry out partial and daily register closing operations, as well as kiosk closing operations, in compliance with procedures., • Assist customers with issues, involving a manager if necessary., • Check kiosk functionality (receipt paper, printer, payment terminal, internet connection)., • Carefully inspect incoming goods for integrity., • Verify delivery notes for accuracy (number of packages and correspondence between goods and delivery note) as per instructions., • Store goods in the warehouse, following FIFO rules., • HACCP, • Piadina/Food preparation, • Order taking, • Cash register operation, • Food safety, • Workplace safety
