Job Description Position Title: Structural Department Manager Reports To: Production Manager Position Summary: The Structural Department Manager is responsible for leading and managing the daily operations of the Structural, Pipe, and Labor Departments in support of ship repair, maintenance, and modernization projects. This role ensures all work is performed safely, efficiently, within budget, and to the highest quality standards in accordance with applicable specifications and regulatory requirements. The Structural Department Manager is responsible for setting the tone and culture of the department, ensuring full alignment with company expectations and strategic objectives. This role requires proactive leadership, accountability, and a strong commitment to organizational priorities. Department Managers are expected to champion company initiatives and directives from senior leadership, clearly communicating and reinforcing them within their teams as unified, department-level guidance. The manager oversees a broad scope of production activities, including structural steel fabrication and repairs, hull modifications, deck and bulkhead work, piping system installation and testing, and general labor support services. Responsibilities include coordinating structural welders, fitters, pipefitters, laborers, and support crews to meet production goals and project schedules. This position requires strong knowledge of shipboard structures, welding and pipefitting techniques, material handling, and staging. Job Description Position Title: Site Manager Reports To: Assistant Facilities Manager – Sites Position Summary: Under the direction of the Assistant Facilities Manager – Sites, the Site Manager will be responsible for the overall functionality and operability of assigned jobsites. This may include mobilization, demobilization, patrolling of jobsites to maintain security of company assets, and coordinating movement of company supplies and equipment. Embrace the 5S methodology to “Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain”, • Strive for continuous improvement in all facets of your role, • Proactively engage with Production and Projects staff to ensure their needs are fulfilled, • Execute tasks as directed by the Facilities Manager and Assistant Facilities Manager – Sites, • Facilitate logistics with PSI Trucking Coordinator and with subcontractors Qualifications/Requirements: • Basic understanding of or ability to quickly understand each job site to be managed, • Ability to maintain and submit job site & delivery records, • Ability to establish and maintain Standard Operating Guides for all tasks/functions executed by you and your staff, • Ability to understand work specifications and technical references, • Ability to obtain OSHA required certifications to operate a wide variety of industrial equipment which includes but is not limited to class 5 & 7 forklifts, and a variety of manlifts, • Willingness to assist wherever possible even when tasks fall outside of your area of primary area of responsibility or expertise, • Implement and maintain systems of accountability for all staff Education/Training: • High school diploma or equivalent, • Experience managing job sites of similar size/scale, • Shipyard/Industrial experience valuable, • Scheduling or planning experience desired, • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs Physical Requirements: • Must be able to sit at a desk and work on a computer, as needed, • Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds, • Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the facilities, • Must be able to access all parts of the company equipment, • Must be able to safely operate a wide variety of industrial equipment including but not limited to class 5 & 7 forklifts, and a variety of manlifts.
