Deliverables & Responsibilities Electrical Installation • Install electrical control systems, including programmable controllers, operator displays, sensors, actuators, and harnesses, according to engineering specifications and schematics., • Route and terminate wiring harnesses and cable assemblies with attention to proper shielding, sealing, and mechanical protection in a heavy equipment environment., • Ensure correct electrical connections, grounding, and system integration with hydraulic, mechanical, and electronic subsystems., • Apply appropriate torque, sealing, and fastener practices to ensure system reliability in demanding operating environments., • Conduct functional and continuity testing on installed electrical systems to confirm compliance with design standards., • Diagnose and resolve issues encountered during installation or initial testing, including wiring errors, communication faults, signal loss, or grounding problems., • Use diagnostic tools (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, CAN bus analyzers, or proprietary controller software) to identify and correct faults., • Read, interpret, & apply electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, harness prints, & control system layouts., • Accurately record test results, corrective actions, and installation notes in production documentation systems., • Follow all OSHA, NEC, and company safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and safe handling of energized circuits., • Ensure compliance with quality standards and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
