Job Description Job Title: Pool Bartender (Seasonal) Classification: Non-Exempt Role Description Dallas Country Club is currently seeking qualified individuals for seasonal Pool Bartender positions. DCC, founded in 1896, is the most exclusive and prestigious private club in the area and we pride ourselves on hiring the best of the best. We are seeking a friendly, skilled, and experienced Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages to our guests, maintaining a clean and organized bar, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is passionate about mixology, has a strong understanding of drink recipes, and creates a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Key Responsibilities • Ensure the legal and responsible serving of alcohol, adhering to local regulations and company policies., • Maintain a high level of product knowledge about alcoholic beverages, cocktails, and wine., • Inspect the bar prior to opening to ensure that adequate supplies are available., • Requests additional supplies as necessary and stocks the bar., • Follows set-up procedures., • Prepare garnishes, mixes, and pre-mixed drinks., • Greet members and guests., • Mixes, prepares, and serves drinks to members and guests and mixes and prepares drinks ordered by food servers and beverage servers according to the recipes approved by the beverage manager., • Reports complaints to a manager as soon as they occur., • Maintains and clean the bar area and equipment., • Maintains records of liquors, beers, wine, tobacco, and sundries to ensure bar stock is always maintained., • Maintains daily inventory and records indicating drinks in the greatest demand., • Cleans and lock up the bar area according to prescribed procedures., • Attend staff meetings including pre-shift (line-up) sessions as required., • Carefully follows all laws and club policies and procedures regarding alcoholic beverage service and informs manager if continued service to a member or guest is in question., • Continually practice beverage and revenue control procedures., • Thank members and guests; invite them to return., • Participate in special events. Helping with set up, operation, and breakdown of Club events., • Completes other appropriate work assignments as requested by the manager. The ideal candidate will have the following experience, skills, and knowledge: • MUST be 18 years or older., • Must have TABC certification., • 1-3 years Hospitality Experience Preferred., • Food safety certification. The ideal candidate will have the following competencies and qualities: • Guest satisfaction awareness., • Impeccable standards of appearance., • Maintains proper associate uniform standards and footwear which is slip resistant, enclosed toe and heel., • Must be able to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach., • Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays., • Push, pull, or lift up to 50 pounds., • Continuous repetitive motions., • Work in hot, humid, and noisy environment.
