About the Role As a FOH Team Member / Bartender, you will have many duties and must perform them flawlessly. At the start of your shift, you will need to set up, stock, and organize all workstations. You are responsible for crafting both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to company standards and creating an exceptional, and memorable dining experience for guests. You will also be tasked with serving guests responsibly by guiding them through the menu and making recommendations for both food and drinks that exceed their expectations. Accurately taking orders, providing friendly, and attentive service, and engaging in conversation are vital to ensuring guests are satisfied and pleased with their experience. Additionally, the bartender should keep the bar consistently stocked and clean. This role is ideal for someone with strong people skills who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. What We Offer Flexible Schedules – enjoy a healthy work-life balance Positive culture – be part of a supportive, community-driven team Growth opportunities – potential to develop your skills and career within our restaurant group Qualifications Minimum Requirements: * Strong communication and customer service skills * Reliability, teamwork, and a positive attitude * Comfort with handling cash and operating a POS system * Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays Preferred: * Previous experience in customer service or hospitality * Familiarity with food service operations Responsibilities • Previous experience working as a bartender in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant or similar environment is preferred., • The ideal candidate must possess outstanding hospitality skills and deliver exceptional service to guests., • Strong organizational skills, great attention to detail, and a strong work ethic are also essential., • The candidate must work efficiently as part of a team and independently, take direction effectively, and communicate professionally., • Maintains cleanliness throughout the restaurant and performs weekly maintenance., • Prepares alcohol or non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant patrons., • Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations., • Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails., • Check guests’ identification and confirm it meets the legal drinking age, • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies., • Remains guest-focused and nurtures an excellent guest experience., • Complies with all food and beverage regulations., • Additionally, the candidate must have a flexible schedule, including the ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays., • Welcome guests warmly and take their orders accurately, • Handle cash and card transactions with accuracy and integrity, • Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization in the FOH area, • Collaborate with teammates and management to ensure smooth service We are part of Pihakis Restaurant Group, a family of chefs and hospitality leaders behind some of the South’s most loved restaurants.
