Job Description Pay Rate: Minimum $16.20 hr - Maximum $18.00 hr Our wage ranges are based on paying competitively for our company's size and industry and are one part of the total compensation that may also include incentives, benefits, and other opportunities at PODS. In accordance with New York, Colorado, California, Washington and other applicable laws, PODSis required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Individual pay decisions are ultimately based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, geography, and balancing internal equity. A reasonable estimate of the current wage range is listed below. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Perform assembly-type functions using hand and/or power tools (without supervision), • Ensure Quality Standards are met, • Move materials using hand cart and or pallet jack, • Basic computer skills, • Pressure washing, • Shop clean up, • Able to complete forklift training and safely operate a forklift, • Perform all welding tasks with a variety of equipment, • Weld plastic (roofs/panels), • Perform all cutting operations utilizing all standard shop equipment, • Fabricate from a drawing and/or verbal instructions with limited supervision, • Safely rig materials for lifting, • Adhere to all safety policies and perform all tasks in a safe manner including adherence to OSHA regulations, • Typically reports to Management. Direct supervisor job title(s) typically include: Sup -Production and Service, • High School diploma or equivalent, • 3-5 years’ experience in construction, building trades or assembly, • Ability to read and understand English is required for OSHA safety regulations, • Possess a current valid driver’s license with clean driving record, • Possess math skills sufficient to perform required duties; ability to apply these skills to units of American weight measurement, volume and distance, • Ability to stand and walk up to 8 hours a day; ability to stoop, bend and lift boxes weighing up to 60 lbs., • Ability to walk, drive and stand for extended periods of time during assigned shift; Ability to climb, kneel, crouch or crawl, • Ability to climb a ladder, • Able to work in a non-climate controlled environment, • Ability to reach and work above head level, • Ability to hear and verbally communicate using a telephone handset and/or connected headset device WORKING CONDITIONS • Shift start times may vary; some additional hours may be required including Saturdays; required to work overtime as needed., • Travel requirements: Negligible, • Warehouse and/or repair center locations may not be climate controlled except for specific areas.
