Job DescriptionLHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Chief Information Officer (CIO) in St. Louis, MO. This role is responsible for setting and executing the organization's enterprise-wide technology strategy to support business growth, operational excellence, security, and innovation across a nationwide footprint. This role partners closely with executive leadership to align technology investments with organizational priorities while ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable IT services for all users. The CIO provides strategic direction, operational leadership, and governance oversight across infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, data, and end-user services, while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Title: Chief Information Officer (CIO) Type: Permanent/Direct Hire Location: St. Louis, MO (on-site) Compensation: $450,000 - $525,000 annual (Flexible upon experience) Benefits: Health/Dental/Vision/401(k) with match/Pension options/Employee Stock Plans/Wellness Programs etc. Job Description: • Develop and execute a multi-year technology strategy and roadmap with defined priorities, KPIs, and governance that advances objectives and maximizes the value of information systems, • Cultivate a collaborative, accountable, high-performance culture while strengthening daily IT operations, service delivery, and a client-focused mindset across the Technology Division, • Design and maintain a resilient technology environment delivering secure, reliable, and responsive services for business professionals, • Direct complex enterprise initiatives including platform modernization, cloud migrations, endpoint lifecycle and operating system deployments, messaging and collaboration enhancements, document management, and change management efforts, • Evaluate and advance information security program, encompassing governance, policies, SOPs, user awareness, incident readiness, and remediation planning., • Establish modern governance and operational practices, including project and portfolio management, financial stewardship, strategic resource planning, vendor oversight, and transparent executive reporting, • Build trusted partnerships with leadership and stakeholders through clear communication, disciplined execution, and technology solutions aligned to priorities, • Assess and optimize technology portfolio-applications, infrastructure, security, data, networks, end-user computing, and information governance-to meet operational and strategic needs, • Identify and recommend emerging technologies and information services that support growth, innovation, and exceptional client service, • Define and operationalize a multi-year IT strategic roadmap supported by KPIs, budget discipline, vendor governance, and transparent reporting to leadership, • Lead major technology initiatives including endpoint and operating system deployments, cloud migration of legal and collaboration platforms, hardware standardization, and user-centered change management, • Strengthen and mature information security posture, including SOPs, policy reinforcement, incident response preparedness, and remediation execution, • Enhance day-to-day IT operations by reinforcing leadership cadence, accountability, and consistent service delivery across the Technology DivisionQualifications, • 10+ years IT leadership, • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience, • CISSP/CISM/ITIL/PMP Certifications are helpful, but not required, • Previous experience leading diverse teams in complex environments, • Demonstrated experience integrating diverse systems, platforms, and enterprise applications, • Extensive technical expertise spanning infrastructure, networking, end-user computing, cybersecurity, Microsoft enterprise platforms, document management systems, and third-party software evaluation and implementation, • Prior experience integrating multiple applications, platforms and systems, • Proven ability to design and implement IT governance models, performance metrics, and reporting frameworks to inform prioritization, operational improvement, and resource decisions, • Demonstrated expertise managing enterprise collaboration platforms, cloud-based messaging, end-user device lifecycles, and legal document management solutions, with strong experience in Microsoft-centric environmentsPay Details: $450,000.00 to $525,000.00 per year Search managed by: Amanda Bellson Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled Military connected talent encouraged to apply To read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable: • The California Fair Chance Act, • Los Angeles City Fair Chance Ordinance, • Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers, • San Francisco Fair Chance OrdinanceMassachusetts Candidates Only: It is unlawful in Massachusetts to require or administer a lie detector test as a condition of employment or continued employment.
