Job Description Caring Therapists of Broward, a group private practice in South Florida, is looking for a full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our thriving group practice in Orlando. We are a collaborative group of therapists that work well together in the office. Requirements include being fully licensed in the State of Florida with Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health (PMHNP). Current DEA and CPR certification, and willingness to be paneled with insurance companies. This is a commissioned full time employment and we pay out biweekly. Caring Therapists provides a steady stream of referrals as well. The candidate must be independent, driven, collaborative, and enhance our fun, connected, and a positive-minded group of clinicians. Our office is well-respected in the community, and we are looking for therapists who are passionate about mental health. The candidate will be independent contractor status. What we offer • A Steady stream of referrals, • Exposure on social media and internet marketing, • Competitive compensation, • A supportive clinical environment, • Warm and welcoming office spaces with waiting rooms, noise machines, and therapeutic supplies, • An in-house billing department to coordinate benefits/eligibility and submit claims, • An in-house intake team who answers calls and schedules intake appointments, • Works with children, ages 4-18 and/or couples, • Willing to work afternoons, evenings, and weekends, • Current State of Florida license as a PMHNP., • Willing to work 30 hours per week or more, • Minimum 2-year post-independent licensure is a plus, • Paneled with insurance a plus, • Strong referral sources, • Offices available to see clients in person, • Assistance with scheduling appointments, • Credentialing assistance, • Front office support with insurances, co-payments, and patient balances, • Caring Therapists completes billing for major commercial healthcare insurers active in Florida, • Caring Therapists provides access to email services, electronic health records platform, phone/fax services, • 50% employer paid insurance plans if qualified, • 401K, • Paid training and CEU opportunities, • Establish positive, trusting rapport with patients, • Diagnose and treat mental health disorders, • Create individualized treatment plans according to patient needs and circumstances, • Meet with patients regularly to provide counseling, evidenced-based treatment, and adjust treatment plans as necessary, • Conduct ongoing assessments of patient progress, • Involve and advise family members when appropriate, • Refer patients to outside specialists or agencies when necessary, • Maintain thorough records of patient meetings and progress, • Follow all safety protocols and maintain client confidentiality, • Maintain proper licenses, certifications and follow professional guidelines, ethical standards, • Contribute to practice by accomplishing related tasks as needed CARES ABOUT OTHERS GOES THE EXTRA MILE IN IT TO WIN IT GOES ONWARD AND UPWARD DOES THE RIGHT THING Has the Following Skills: • Strong interpersonal skills, • Excellent communication and listening skills, • Ability to build rapport quickly, • Detail-oriented, • Ability to communicate with compassion and empathy, • Strong ability to manage time and prioritize tasks, • Proficient in Office products, Excel and Google documents, use of Electronic Medical Records, • Demonstrated ability to work well with professional colleagues, as well as those providing administrative support Caring Therapists is the premier counseling center in Broward County, Palm Beach County, and throughout the state of Florida. We specialize in anxiety, depression, PTSD, OCD, LGBTQIA issues, couples & marriage counseling, child & teen therapy, trauma, and psychological testing. We offer testing for ADHD, Autism, Gifted evaluations, forensic psychology, learning disabilities, psychoeducational evaluations, and substance abuse evaluations. We offer in-person and online counseling. We are in-network with the following insurance panels: Aetna, Humana, Cigna, Optum, United, UMR, Beacon Health, EAP, Value Options, Avmed, Magellan, Tricare, Humana Military, Lyra, Modern Health, and Concordia.
