We’re seeking a full-time Desk Clerk at our historic San Pablo Hotel to provide excellent customer service while supporting residents, staff, and visitors through organized administrative oversight and smooth community operations. Schedule: CAH M-F 8-4pm OR 12am-8am Why You’ll Love This Role You’ll be the friendly, organized hub of our building—helping residents feel supported, assisting staff in maintaining smooth operations, and ensuring every visitor has a positive experience. This role combines administrative responsibilities with a strong customer service focus, so you’ll be contributing to both operational efficiency and community satisfaction. What You’ll Do • Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, staff, and vendors, providing responsive, professional, and helpful customer service., • Maintain accurate records, logs, and reports on daily activities, incidents, and resident interactions., • Coordinate and submit maintenance work orders, follow up to ensure completion, and communicate updates to residents as needed., • Assist residents with documentation, recertifications, and compliance-related inquiries in a supportive and clear manner., • Help plan and support community events, workshops, and resident programs to foster engagement and a welcoming environment., • Enforce building policies and house rules fairly, while addressing resident concerns with tact and professionalism., • Support office operations, including answering phones, managing correspondence, and updating internal systems efficiently., • Collaborate with Property Management to ensure operational workflows are smooth and resident-focused.What We’re Looking For, • Minimum 1 year of experience in an administrative, desk clerk, or customer service-oriented role., • Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills., • Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize work, and remain calm under pressure., • Comfortable working with diverse populations and providing excellent customer service at all times., • Knowledge of HUD guidelines or nonprofit housing programs is a plus.Physical Requirements, • Ability to sit, stand, and bend throughout the shift., • Lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
