Job DescriptionOur rapidly-expanding insurance agency is looking for a full-time life insurance agent to join our team! You’ll grow a list of prospective clients, market our insurance products, showcase our offerings to new customers, and help policyholders navigate the claims process. We’ll provide the support network and resources to help you reach - and exceed - your sales goals. Apply today!Compensation: $70,000 - $100,000 yearly Responsibilities: • Aid policyholders with the insurance claims process while supervising the progress of current insurance claims, • Provide warm and professional customer service while onboarding new clients and maintain existing clients, including booking appointments, inquiry response, insurance eligibility, claim submissions questions concerning billing and insurance policies, • Ensure all contracting paperwork is up to date while maintaining databases, records, and bookkeeping, • Evaluate new customers’ insurance needs, insurance risk, existing coverage, long-term goals, and financial status through consultations to create a tailored experience that exceeds expectations, • Develop a prospective customer base and advertise our insurance products through referrals, cold calling, networking, and other marketing strategies to secure new business, • Sales experience preferred – business mindset, no mile too far, • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, • Desire to help families and businesses to “Be Good At Life”, • Strong business acumen, • Professional business demeanor, • Perseverance in the face of a challenge, • Ability to engage your community and leverage personal networks/contactsQualifications:, • Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED; a Bachelor’s degree is a plus, • Skilled with Microsoft Office, • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required, • Client service experience as a sales representative a plus, • Active Life & Health insurance license is a strong bonus, • Ability to understand the needs and financial concerns of clients, • Ability to educate clients on how to plan ahead for the future financially, so that they are prepared for unfortunate life events/ circumstances they may encounter, • Promote customized ways for clients to achieve their long-term financial goals, • Cultivating relationships with a view to helping every family member or individual pursue financial security, • Ability to build an insurance and financial practice through establishing professional networks and prospecting for new clients, • Providing compassion and guidance to clients when unfortunate life circumstances arise, • Having a clear focus on developing and maintaining long-term bonds with clients, resulting in trust and continuity of the community over timeAbout Company New York Life Greater Atlanta's mission is to provide financial security and peace of mind through our insurance, annuity, and investment solutions.
