Job DescriptionJob Title: PackagerJob Description Prepare all required components in the filling rooms and finishing areas. Maintain and visually inspect packaging equipment, and ensure all machinery, workstations, and containers are clean and sanitized. Submit various checklists, documents, and reports related to Packaging. Adjust the machine and troubleshoot with the Primary/Secondary areas. Operate the Bottle Filling, Blister Card, and Powder Filling machinery, as well as Silica Pouch, Counter, Metal Detector, and Capper. Additionally, operate Bottle scrambler, Bottle vision inspection, Cap Heat Sealer, Coding, Labeler, Checkweigher, Taper, UPC, and Scale in the Secondary area. Dismantle and reinstall attachments and tooling during changeovers within all Packaging equipment, and assist with maintenance during troubleshooting. Submit Maintenance Work Order requests and maintain housekeeping within all packaging areas. Responsibilities • Prepare components for filling rooms and finishing areas., • Visually inspect and maintain packaging equipment., • Clean and sanitize machinery, workstations, and containers., • Submit checklists, documents, and reports related to Packaging., • Adjust machines and troubleshoot in Primary/Secondary areas., • Operate various machinery including Bottle Filling, Blister Card, and Powder Filling., • Handle Bottle scrambler, vision inspection, Cap Heat Sealer, and Labeler in Secondary areas., • Dismantle and reinstall equipment attachments and tooling during changeovers., • Assist with troubleshooting and submit Maintenance Work Order requests., • Experience in packaging, inspection, and clean room environments., • Understanding of GMP and cleanroom standards., • Ability to label, fill orders, palletize, and stack efficiently., • 3 years of experience as a Machine Operator or in Operator Maintenance., • Strong safety awareness and ability to follow directions., • Effective communication in English., • Ability to stand, walk, carry, climb, twist, bend, grip, and reach regularly., • Efficiently work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment., • Ability to use common sense to follow detailed instructions., • Consistent attendance and respect for others., • Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently., • Leadership skills in team settings. Work Environment Packaging workers will stand and inspect product label information, place products in boxes, and handle boxes on pallets. The role involves working on a packaging line with various lines operating at different speeds. Workers may operate tape machines to seal boxes. This position requires adaptability to different lines and equipment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jurupa Valley, California. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
