The Physical Therapist (PT) is the SpineZone staff member responsible for safely managing the core spine strengthening for each patient. The Physical Therapist (PT) works to encourage the patient/client to consistently apply the strengthening techniques to achieve the maximum short term and long term benefits of the SpineZone program. The Physical Therapist (PT) is the designated SpineZone teammate responsible for the initial intake of all patient’s care plans at one or more SpineZone locations. The Physical Therapist (PT) primary focus is on day-to-day patient care to deliver the highest quality of rehabilitative care to our patients. All clinical & state regulatory supervision of support teammates (PTA and PT aide) are to be directly managed with direct support from their Clinic Manager (CM) and Regional Clinic Manager (RCM). Supervisory Responsibility This position supervises Physical Therapy Assistants (PTA) and Physical Therapy Aide. Essential Job Functions: • Direct oversight of all clinical teammates (PTA, PT aide) while ensuring delivery of high quality patient care services, • Perform direct patient care, including evaluation of the musculoskeletal, neurological, and other physical problems, • Plan, design, implement and interpret specific physical therapy treatment programs, • Maintain standardized clinical protocols and process around SpineZone program, • Perform MedX or DAVID equipment testing effectively and communicate instructions to patient, • Address clinical related concerns directly and timely to PTA and PT aide, • Work closely with the medical director and referring providers to ensure comprehensive delivery of services and quality patient care within our multidisciplinary team, • Complete encounter note information for each patient visit utilizing company EHR, • Ensure clinical documents are sent out timely to the referring practitioner (I.e. Initial Eval, Progress Note, D/C summary etc.), • Assist Maintenance Program patients as needed, • Maintain a clean workout area and overall clinic cleanliness and organization, • Strive to achieve all Clinical KPI benchmarks including company productivity targets, • Participate in bi-weekly webinars and live meetings, • Ensure patient caseload is adequately monitored and maintained within company EHR, • Ensure all billing is completed daily in Athena, • Schedule/reschedule appointment; retrieving messages and insuring proper messages to be relayed, • Collection of copays and other fees required prior to the office visit or treatment, • Follows all HIPAA regulations and compliance., • Provide outstanding customer service skills and engage well with patients, • Active Physical Therapist license from the state of California, • Doctorate of Physical Therapy or equivalent, • Valid CPR Certificate, • Knowledge of principles, practices, standards and techniques of physical therapy, • Knowledge of organizational policies, regulations and procedures to administer patient care, • Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work medical environment, • Ability to develop and maintain patient care records and writing reports, • Ability to problem solve while remaining calm and collective during stressful situations, • Ability to develop and maintain medical quality assurance and quality control standards, • Ability to multitask effectively and efficiently, • Ability to work in a team environment, • Ability to remain organized and time management, • Strong communication skills both verbally and written, • Strong attention to detail, • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Drive This position works in the physical therapy outpatient setting. Responsibilities: • Early Childhood Educator: instruct preschool-aged children by following company-selected curriculum (Zoo-phonics; training will be provided), • Attend (1-3) monthly trainings/staff meetings after hours., • Keep the classroom clean, neat, and organized following company policies and standards of care., • Arrive on time, consistent attendance is a must., • Comply with all licensing rules and consult with Director when unsure., • Communicate with parents on a regular basis on the child's progress and addresses any concerns professionally and with empathy., • Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents., • Coach and guide assistant teacher with clear instructions., • At least 12 Early Childhood Education units, must include: Early Child Development; Child, Family & Community; Infant & Toddler; and any other Child Development class (i.e. Program & Curriculum, Child Health & Safety, etc.), • At least 2 years experience as a teacher, • Passionate about working with children (infants through school age) and has a positive and patient demeanor., • Must be able to work as part of a team and get along with various personalities., • Willing to learn software applications and is adaptable to change., • Experience with Title 5 preferred, • Able to work occasional overtime if needed and attend scheduled staff meetings after hours., • Possibility of class pets. During the year, we have different animals on site., • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds; able to sit on the floor and/or stand for extended periods of time.
