The Nursery offers over 250 species of trees, shrubs, vines, and perennials to retail and wholesale customers. This position supports day-to-day nursery operations as set by the Nursery Manager and serves as the primary lead for retail inventory accuracy within the Square Point-of-Sale system. The role ensures operational efficiency, inventory integrity, strong retail performance, and excellent customer experience while reinforcing Blue Water Baltimore’s mission of advancing clean water and strong, equitable communities. The CHW will work alongside a team of Health Promoters to implement culturally and linguistically proficient health education initiatives. These may include outreach, workshops, and one-on-one support focused on prevention, early detection, and management of common and chronic illnesses, as well as connecting community members to primary care, mental health resources, and other community-based services. The CHW will recruit, engage, enroll, and screen community members for participation in health programs and clinics, and support them in overcoming barriers to care such as language, transportation, and documentation concerns.
