Assigns caseloads and related duties., • Reviews and approves employees’ electronic health record entries; ensures participant satisfaction through service verifications, auditing and monitoring records, shadowing, etc., • In collaboration with Finance, develops and manages the program budget; completes relevant financial duties, such as productivity reports, check requests, purchase orders, expense reports, etc., • Tracks revenue from mobile services and incorporates individual production reports into staff supervision sessions to support staff in achieving billable unit quotas., • In collaboration with the Division Director, develops and implements innovative services for unmet needs and/or processes and provides guidance in solving complex problems that may affect services., • Defuses critical situations and provides safety and reassurance to all participants, volunteers, and staff; notifies Division Director, in a timely way, of any problems or concerns; creates incident reports as necessary., • Gathers and provides data for outcomes and written reports requested by city, state, or federal funding sources., • Recommends best practices to address internal and/or external challenges to the services provided., • Orders and maintains relevant program supplies, transit passes, etc.; regularly monitors vehicle maintenance to ensure all MHP vehicles are serviced, cleaned, maintained, and operated in a safe manner. Complies with annual registration and inspection standards., • May be required to cover Certified Peer Specialists responsibilities in order to maintain program operations and ensure the continuity of care of participants., • Reports any activities that may violate established laws, regulations, policies or procedures. The Acute Care Nurse is an important member of the Complex Care Team and will use all available resources and leverage other members of the healthcare care team to develop effective plans of care and with focus on delivering high levels of longitudinal care coordination. Mainstream Itinerant Teachers of the Deaf provide direct and consultative services to students in preschool through high school. Services are provided as stipulated in a student’s IEP and can include consultation with professionals, direct service to students, support to families, program observations and training. Teachers must demonstrate an understanding of, and the ability to communicate, the challenges encountered by students with hearing loss in regular school. Essential Duties/Responsibilities: · Guide schools in the development of an effective support system for students with hearing loss. Job Description Job Title Deaf Apostolate & Operations Coordinator Reports to The Director of the Office for Persons with Disabilities Location Archdiocese of Philadelphia Overtime N/A Job Purpose The purpose of the fulltime position is coordination and administration of the faith formation and pastoral ministry for the Deaf community, as well as providing comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Office for Persons with Disabilities and the Deaf Apostolate. This role ensures the successful execution of various ministries, events, and outreach efforts, while enabling the director to focus on higher level strategic planning and execution of their mission and in spreading the love of Christ through the planning and implementation of various ministries and events. Duties and Responsibilities Faith Formation & Pastoral Ministry (Deaf Apostolate) • Coordinate a schedule of Sunday Masses in American Sign Language (ASL) and interpreted Masses at designated sites throughout the Archdiocese., • Assist the Deaf Apostolate Chaplain in the liturgical and faith formation activities of Deaf lay leaders., • Provide pastoral care to Deaf adults during personal crises, family emergencies, and death., • Administer a program of ongoing faith formation for Deaf adults and encourage community participation., • Collaborate with the Chaplain to provide evangelization efforts and outreach programs to reach non-Catholic Deaf individuals and Deaf Catholics who are not actively practicing their faith., • Coordinate outreach programs to engage the Deaf community and foster connections with local parishes and ministries., • Foster strong community engagement and support for the mission of the Deaf Apostolate., • Coordinate religious education programs for Deaf youth, ensuring accessible sacramental preparation and faith formation., • Maintain accurate sacramental records., • Identify, train, and support catechists for Deaf youth programs, and organize materials for their instruction., • Coordinate a summer religious education camp for Deaf children, including logistical coordination, staffing, and funding opportunities., • Foster parent involvement in the faith formation of Deaf children and coordinate family faith formation activities., • Ensure Safe Environment compliance for catechists and volunteers working with Deaf youth.
