KBF is currently seeking an FP&A Manager or Senior Manager to join our internal finance team. Role Overview The FP&A Manager/Senior Manager will serve as a key finance partner to KBF's leadership team, owning the firm's internal financial planning, forecasting, and reporting functions. This person will translate financial data into actionable insights that drive business decisions and support sustainable growth. Key Responsibilities • Financial Modeling & Analysis, • Build, maintain, and enhance sophisticated financial models to support firm-wide strategic planning and scenario analysis, • Evaluate financial implications of business initiatives, investments, and operational changes, • Serve as the internal subject matter expert on financial modeling standards and best practices, • Budgeting & Forecasting, • Lead the firm's annual budgeting process, coordinating inputs across departments and consolidating into a cohesive plan, • Develop and maintain rolling forecasts, identifying risks and opportunities against budget, • Partner with service line and functional leads to build bottoms-up plans and hold stakeholders accountable to their budgets, • Reporting & Dashboards, • Own the design and delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting packages for firm leadership, • Build and manage dashboards that provide real-time visibility into KPIs and financial performance, • Continuously improve reporting processes for accuracy, efficiency, and clarity, • Leadership & Strategy, • Act as a strategic partner to the CFO and executive team on firm performance and growth, • Drive process improvements and technology enhancements across the FP&A function Qualifications • Required, • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, • 3+ years of FP&A or corporate finance experience, including analyst experience in private equity or investment banking, • Manager: 3-4 years, • Senior Manager: 4-7 years, • Advanced financial modeling skills (Excel required; experience with planning tools such as Aleph, Adaptive, AnaPlan, Vena, DataRails, or similar preferred), • Strong command of financial statements and management reporting, • Proven ability to synthesize complex data into clear, executive-ready narratives, • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment, • Preferred, • Experience in a professional services or advisory firm environment, • MBA in Finance, Accounting, or related field or CPA, • Proficiency with BI/dashboard tools (Power BI or similar) Irvine, CA | Lake Oswego, OR | Las Vegas, NV | San Diego, CA | Seattle, WA | Remote, USA The salary range for this position reflects various factors that influence compensation decisions, such as skills, experience, training, certifications, licensure, geographic location, and other organizational requirements. At KBF Advisory, it is uncommon for a candidate to be hired at the high end of the salary range, as compensation is based on the unique qualifications and circumstances of each individual. The estimated current base salary range for this role is $130,000 - $180,000. There will also be other items that build the full package. Benefits are a vital component of overall compensation.
