Job DescriptionJob Title: Civil SuperintendentJob Description The Civil Superintendent plays a pivotal role bridging the civil and quality groups, ensuring all subcontracted work meets specifications. This position is ideal for individuals with a civil background seeking roles in civil or quality domains. The Civil Superintendent oversees various civil-related scopes such as grading, basin excavation, culvert installation, trenching, surveying, tree clearing, foundation installation, and access road development. They ensure that civil construction activities are carried out safely, on schedule, and in compliance with project specifications and quality standards. Responsibilities • Oversee all on-site civil construction activities, including site grading, clearing, basin, and road installation., • Manage trenching, backfilling, and compaction processes., • Supervise foundations for inverter pads, tracker posts, and racking systems., • Ensure compliance with SWPPP, erosion control measures, and stormwater management., • Oversee subcontractors to ensure quality, schedule, and safety standards are maintained., • Review civil drawings, resolve constructability issues with CM and engineering., • Conduct daily site walks to monitor progress, environmental compliance, and QA/QC standards., • Enforce site-specific quality and safety procedures in collaboration with QA/QC and Safety Teams., • Hold subcontractors accountable for productivity and performance.Essential Skills, • 3+ years of experience in civil superintendent or solar civil superintendent roles., • Strong background in technology (MS Suite and Procore)., • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification., • Experience with electrical construction and components., • Ability to read and understand construction drawings, specifications, and contract exhibits.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • QA/QC experience is a plus., • Bi-lingual (Spanish) communication skills are a plus., • Strong organizational and time management skills., • Analytical and detail-oriented with problem-solving capabilities., • Ability to influence adherence to company policies and procedures., • Proficiency in computer and software operations.
